Andrew Bynum had another big line on Sunday, going for 18 points, 16 rebounds, a steal and a block against Nene and the Nuggets.
Bynum has been dominating Lakers' practice and is averaging 23.5 points, 14.5 boards, a steal and 1.5 blocks in his two games this season, and is going to be a stud as long as his knee holds up. Pau Gasol added 20 points and 11 boards, but it wasn't enough for the Lakers after Kobe Bryant hit just 6-of-28 shots.

Andrew Bynum is set to make his season debut vs. the Nuggets on Saturday.
Bynum is expected to average 32+ minutes per game this season, which is great news as long as he can stay healthy. He still weighs about 290 lbs. but has cut his body fat from 9.5% to a mere 5.1%, and has the potential to break out under Mike Brown this season.

Coach Mike Brown expects Andrew Bynum to play "about 34 minutes" in the Lakers game against the Nuggets on Saturday.
Brown added that he expects Pau Gasol to play the same, so both players owners have an idea of what to expect. The Lakers have had the league's most hectic schedule, with four games played already and a home-and-home series with the Nuggets this weekend. It wouldn't be surprising to see Gasol get a bit of a blow. Lakers reporter Mike Trudell added that Bynum didn't seem to think he could handle that much run.

Andrew Bynum's four-game suspension is over and he's expected to play on Saturday against the Nuggets.
Check back to make sure he's a go for that one, but we see no reason why he won't play.

Andrew Bynum was pulled over twice in the last week, once for his tail lights being too darkly tinted and for expired plates, and again on Wednesday for going 80 mph in his Porsche 911.
Bynum's currently serving a four-game suspension, which will end after he sits out Thursday's game against the Knicks, but the real question here is how does Andrew Bynum fit into a Porsche 911?

Due to the shortened season, the NBA has announced they have reduced the suspension for Andrew Bynum from five games to four games.
This makes starting Bynum for Week 1 a bit less risky, especially since the Lakers have a league-high six games in the first fantasy scoring period.

Andrew Bynum exploded for 26 points, 11 boards and two blocks on 11-of-15 shooting against DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers on Wednesday.
Bynum was a beast, but will unfortunately be out for the first five games due to a suspension for a nasty hit on J.J. Barea last year. Josh McRoberts or Troy Murphy will start in his place on Christmas Day. Both are intriguing options with six games in Week 1.

Andrew Bynum scored 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting with a matching 5-of-11 mark from the foul line, and also grabbed 12 rebounds with one steal and two blocks in 33 minutes.
Bynum admitted he wasn't in game shape and he looked a bit slow, particularly as the defensive game plan called for him to show on screens instead of going under them. Those reporters that cover him every day have staunchly defended his conditioning as being above average, so we're not going to hold Bynum to the fire here. Bynum held top-40 value for a stretch last season, and accounting for his injury risk we like him in the fifth round. He won't be available by the sixth.

Mike Brown intends to play Andrew Bynum around 34 minutes per game this season, up from 27.8 last year.
"I feel good right now," Bynum said. "Both my knees feel very good. I don't have any swelling." The question is whether Bynum can stay healthy playing so many minutes in a condensed schedule, so we're tempering our excitement about his increased minutes. Given L.A.'s lack of frontcourt depth, though, he's going to play all he can handle.

The Lakers are reportedly unwilling to trade both Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol in exchange for Dwight Howard.
The Lakers feel that the team can acquire another big man to replace Lamar Odom behind Bynum and Gasol using the trade exception acquired from Dallas. It will be interesting to see what the ultimate end game is for GM Mitch Kupchak, and he's got to address the depth issues for his team before the season begins.
