Shved signed a three-year contract with the Russian club Khimki Moscow, baksetball reporter David Pick reports. The deal reportedly includes an opt-out if Shved decides he'd like to come back to the NBA, so he'll still be an option for teams to look into as the free agency period continues. Shved is coming off the best season of his career after being traded from the Rockets to the Knicks mid-season. With the Knicks, Shved played in 16 games, finishing with averages of 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 0.9 steals over 26 minutes per game. With no NBA teams showing interest, Shved will head home to Russia, where he grew up and started his professional career.

Shved did not receive a qualifying offer from the Knicks, making him an unrestricted free agent, NBA.com reports. Shved is able to sign with any team he chooses in free agency, and given his struggles finding a consistent role in the NBA, it wouldn't be surprising to see him return to playing in Europe next season.

Shved was traded to the Knicks at the February deadline and averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists in 16 games (nine starts) prior to suffering a season-ending ribs injury in March. Shved spent the first half of this season with both the Sixers and Rockets, but was able to finish strong after being dealt to the Knicks. While New York's abysmal roster allowed Shved to play 26.4 minutes per game, the Russian performed admirably in such a situation. In fact, his 16-game averages with New York marked career-highs in virtually every meaningful fantasy category. Nonetheless, with the Knicks expected to overhaul their team this summer, it's unclear if Shved will be retained ahead of next season, clouding his fantasy outlook for the time being.

Shved will miss the next 2-3 weeks with a fractured rib, essentially ending his season. Shved can be dropped in all standard one-year leagues. In his absence, Langston Galloway, Shane Larkin, and Cleanthony Early should see the biggest jumps in value, but Galloway is the only one worth rostering in standard leagues at this time.

Shved (ribs) will not play Wednesday against the Clippers, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports. Shved was initially considered questionable to play after missing Monday's game with a minor rib injury, but after receiving treatment Wednesday afternoon he'll be held out of action. With Jose Calderon (Achilles), Tim Hardaway, Jr. (wrist), Travis Wear (back) and Carmelo Anthony (knee) all out, the Knicks will only have 10 available players.

Shved (ribs) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers but is listed as a likely starter, Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com reports. Shved missed Monday's game against the Grizzlies, allowing Langston Galloway and Shane Larkin to combine for 87 minutes. If Shved returns Wednesday night, Larkin will be the big loser in terms of playing time, but Galloway could be the bigger loser in terms of usage. There's also some chance Tim Hardaway (questionable-wrist) returns.

Shved (ribs) has been ruled out of Monday's game against the Grizzlies. Shved suffered a ribs contusion Sunday, making Monday's contest too early for him to return for. As a result, Shane Larkin will fill Shved's spot in the Knicks' starting backcourt Monday.

Shved will not return to Sunday's game against the Raptors after suffering a rib contusion. Shved should be considered day-to-day moving forward until the Knicks shed some light on the severity of his injury. Shane Larkin started in place of Shved to begin the second half so it's reasonable to assume that Larkin could see added minutes if Shved is off the court beyond Sunday.

Shved continued his hot streak Friday against the Sixers, hitting seven three-pointers en-route to a 25-point performance. He also added six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in 35 minutes of action. Shved is now averaging 19.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.4 three-pointers made over the last five games. These numbers seem too good to be true, and chances are, Shved will cool down eventually. However, owners can continue to ride the hot hand until the dream is over.

Shved scored 20 points (7-21 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT) with six assists, five rebounds, a steal and a block in 43 minutes during Thursday's OT loss to the Timberwolves. He's become a useful fantasy option in the Knicks' threadbare backcourt, and Shved is now averaging 17.8 points, 5.4 boards, 4.8 assists, 1.8 threes and 1.3 steals over his last eight games.
