Brooks scored five points with one rebound and one steal in five minutes in Tuesday's loss to Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
Brooks made his Timberwolves debut, but only because it was a blowout loss. Brooks is going to make only token appearances off the bench barring an injury in the backcourt.

Brooks did not play in Wednesday's loss to San Antonio due to a coach's decision.
EDGE Analysis
Brooks lost out on a preseason battle to Tyus Jones for the backup point guard role. It looks like he'll rarely get off the bench barring injuries.

Brooks played 10.6 minutes per game over two appearances this preseason.
EDGE Analysis
Brooks signed with Minnesota in late September after playing for the Hawks last season. The Timberwolves aren't deep at point guard since Brooks is currently listed as last on the depth chart but also third. The 32-year-old won't likely see the court much since Jeff Teague and Tyus Jones are lined up to receive the bulk of the point guard minutes this season.

Brooks agreed to a contract with the Timberwolves on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran spent last season with the Pacers, posting a modest 5.0 points, 1.9 assists and 1.1 rebounds across 13.8 minutes per game. His workload doesn't project to change in a positive direction, as the Wolves are certainly set with their starting point guard Jeff Teague. That said, he could compete for the reserve role with Tyus Jones and has a good enough of an outside shot to play shooting guard in small-ball lineups.

Brooks is no longer listed on the team's injury report.
EDGE Analysis
Brooks was recently dealing with soreness in his right knee. After being taken off the injury report, Brooks will most likely be a full go for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

Brooks suffered an injury to his right knee during Monday's game and is questionable to return.
EDGE Analysis
Early reports are that Brooks is dealing with a sore right knee. If he can't return to the hardwood, both Monta Ellis and Lance Stephenson could be called on to pick up the slack.

Brooks recorded 18 points (6-15 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 28 minutes in Wednesday's 110-97 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
It looked like Brooks wanted to win the game on his own in the first half, as the journeyman point guard drained all four of his 3-pointers and another 2-point shot in the first two quarters. He usually only averages 13.3 minutes of usage behind Jeff Teague, but the team exhausted itself trying to keep up with Mike Conley and as a result, Brooks saw some more time and took advantage of the opportunity. Despite this exceptional outing, Brooks is essentially a role player who has little fantasy value. Unless something happens to Teague, he should remain on the waiver wire.

Brooks (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in an 87-81 loss to the Knicks on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Brooks hasn't played in any of the Pacers' last three games, and has made only two appearances in March. When both Jeff Teague and Rodney Stuckey are healthy, it looks as though Brooks will find himself out of the rotation more often than not.

Brooks (coach's decision) didn't leave the bench in Monday's 93-90 win over the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
With Rodney Stuckey (ankle) returning from a two-game absence, coach Nate McMillan didn't have room in his rotation for Brooks, who fell to third on the depth chart at point guard. Brooks also failed to play in the previous contest where Stuckey was available, so it appears that when the Pacers backcourt is at full strength, Brooks won't see the floor outside of garbage time.

Brooks (ankle) logged 13 minutes in a 109-103 win over the Timberwolves on Thursday, providing zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and three rebounds.
EDGE Analysis
Following a one-game hiatus due to a sore knee, Brooks resumed his usual role on the Pacers' second unit, but didn't offer much of an impact during his time on the court. The veteran point guard will struggle to see meaningful minutes as long as starter Jeff Teague remains healthy, and could even lose out on court time when Rodney Stuckey (hamstring) returns to action.
