Plesac (thumb) threw a 32-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Plesac tossed 40 pitches Thursday, and he didn't have any restrictions or complications during his 32-pitch throwing session Saturday. The 26-year-old has now thrown three bullpen sessions since he suffered a fractured right thumb May 24, and he could build up his pitch count in the near future before potentially beginning a rehab assignment.

Plesac (thumb) is scheduled to throw a 40-pitch bullpen session Thursday, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander will throw the first 20 pitches off flat ground before moving to the mound to finish the session. It will be Plesac's second bullpen session since suffering a fractured right thumb May 24, and he should keep building up his arm before potentially embarking on a rehab assignment.

Plesac (thumb) will throw a bullpen Friday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Plesac resumed throwing last week, and he'll throw off a mound in hopes that he could begin a rehab assignment in the next few weeks. It's not clear how many pitches the right-hander is expected to throw Friday, but it's encouraging to see him resume mound work. A timetable for his return to major-league game action hasn't yet been established.

Plesac (thumb) will begin throwing later this week, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, the righty will begin his throwing progression a few weeks after fracturing his pitching thumb May 24. Plesac will likely require a rehab assignment before returning to Cleveland, so he remains at least a couple weeks from being activated.

Plesac (thumb) will not need surgery, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Indians will re-evaluate Plesac's thumb every 7-10 days, and they'll take the next three weeks for the righty to begin a throwing progression. The exact timeframe for Plesac's return remains unclear, but it is promising that surgery was deemed unnecessary.

Plesac (thumb) suffered his injury by hitting his thumb on a chair while "aggressively" removing his shirt after Sunday's start, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Much like Huascar Ynoa (hand), the talented starter injured himself in a frustration-induced, post-start incident. The Indians will have to look elsewhere for starts while their No. 2 starter allows his thumb to heal.

The Indians placed Plesac on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a non-displaced right thumb fracture, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Plesac presumably suffered the injury during his tough outing Sunday, when he allowed three earned runs in just 3.2 innings. It's unclear how much time the righty will spend on the IL, but he's certain to miss at least his next two starts.

Plesac didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Twins after allowing five runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk while fanning one across 3.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Plesac couldn't complete the fourth inning and delivered one of his shortest outings of the season, though at least he extended his undefeated streak to six appearances, going 3-0 with a 2.93 ERA in that span. The right-hander is slated to pitch against Friday at home against the Blue Jays.

Plesac (4-3) allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over seven innings as he picked up a win over the Angels on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
All five runs Plesac gave up came via the long ball. He surrendered a solo shot to Shohei Ohtani in the first, a three-run blast to Justin Upton in the fourth and then another solo home run to Jose Iglesias in the seventh. It wasn't a great outing for the 26-year-old but he still managed to come away with a win and now has three in his last four starts. He'll take a 3.93 ERA into his next start.

Plesac threw eight innings in Thursday's 4-2 win over Seattle, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks with two strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Plesac was cruising through seven innings until allowing a Dylan Moore two-run home run in the eighth to halve Cleveland's lead. Regardless, it was another solid outing for Plesac, who's allowed only seven runs in six starts other than two blow-up games against the White Sox.
