Davies (6-7) allowed four runs across six innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Reds. He gave up seven hits and four walks while striking out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Davies allowed too many baserunners, and the Chicago offense didn't do him any favors by not scoring any runs until the ninth inning, but the righty was still able to turn in a decent outing. The eight strikeouts certainly helped him get out of trouble, and he's now struck out exactly eight batters in his last two starts. The figure is a season high and a bit of an outlier for Davies, who came into Wednesday's contest with a 6.1 K/9 this season. He'll now carry a 4.39 ERA into his next scheduled start Tuesday against the Rockies at Coors Field as he looks to even up his record.

Davies (6-6) allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight in 5.1 innings to earn the win against the Diamondbacks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Davies returned to the win column for the first time in nearly a month after he was forced to settle for a pair of losses and a pair of no-decisions in his last four starts. He got plenty of run support from the Cubs' offense in the 8-3 victory, and he's now allowed three or fewer runs in each of his last six appearances. The right-hander tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Reds on Wednesday.

Davies allowed two earned runs on six hits and four walks while striking out three over 4.2 innings on Sunday in the loss to the Diamondbacks. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Davies managed to surrender just two runs, but it could have been much worse. He stranded the bases loaded with no outs after a run scored in the fourth frame and found himself stuck in another bases-loaded jam in the fifth inning. Davies walked another four batters, continuing his streak for worst BB/9 among qualifying pitchers in all of baseball with a 4.8. Sunday was his sixth start where he walked more batters than he struck out. The 28-year-old carries a 4.35 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP in 97.1 innings this season.

Davies (5-6) allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out three in 4.1 innings, taking the loss versus St. Louis on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
This was the third straight start Davies didn't work into the sixth inning after doing so in his four previous outings. He mostly settled in after allowing an RBI single to Matt Carpenter in the first inning, but Paul Goldschmidt took him deep in the fifth. Tyler O'Neill followed with a single, and reliever Adam Morgan allowed him to score on a Tommy Edman home run. Davies' ERA ticked up to 4.37 with a 1.45 WHIP and 59:48 K:BB across 92.2 innings this year. He's alternated between strong and poor stretches, so he'll probably welcome the All-Star break to get some additional rest.

Davies allowed two runs on four hits and two walks with one strikeouts in five innings in a no-decision versus Philadelphia on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
While the Cubs lost 13-3, Davies actually had a fairly effective start. The two runs he allowed came on solo home runs by Andrew Knapp and Didi Gregorius in the third and fourth innings. The right-hander has now allowed four runs across his last 15 innings spanning three starts. He has a 4.28 ERA with a troubling 1.42 WHIP and 56:46 K:BB in 88.1 innings overall. Davies' next start lines up for this weekend's series versus St. Louis.

Davies (5-5) took the loss Tuesday, giving up two runs on two hits and three walks over four innings as the Cubs were downed 2-1 by the Brewers. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander needed 84 pitches (47 strikes) to record only 12 outs, and while Davies was once again tough to make solid contact against, the results weren't as impressive as his last time out when he helped no-hit the Dodgers. He'll take a 4.32 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 55:44 K:BB through 83.1 innings into his next outing.

Davies (5-4) won Thursday's 4-0 game against the Dodgers, throwing six innings and allowing only 5 walks with four strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Davies pitched the first six innings of what was a combined no-hitter for Chicago against a formidable Los Angeles roster. The five walks are a season high and all of them came in the first four innings, but Davies ended strong by retiring nine straight Dodgers. It was an excellent rebound from his previous start against Miami and he'll look to carry the momentum forward next week in Milwaukee.

Davies (4-4) allowed eight runs on seven hits and three walks with just two strikeouts across six innings, taking the loss versus Miami on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Davies' run of dominant pitching came to a halt with a stinker Friday. He allowed multiple home runs in a start for the first time this year, giving up a grand slam to Adam Duvall and a three-run blast to Jon Berti in the contest. The right-hander's ERA ballooned from 4.01 to 4.66, and he now has an unsightly 45:36 K:BB across 73.1 innings this year. Davies lines up for his next start versus the Dodgers next week.

Davies (4-3) picked up the win over the Cardinals on Sunday after pitching 6.2 shutout innings and allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
Davies was dominant yet again as he led the Cubs to a series sweep over the Cardinals. He allowed his first baserunner after retiring the first 13 batters and eventually saw his day come to a close in the sixth once the Cardinals got two men on base. The 28-year-old had a 9.47 ERA over five starts in April but since owns a 1.86 ERA and 29:18 K:BB over 48.1 innings. He'll look to keep things rolling in an expected home start against the Marlins during the week.

Davies (3-3) won Tuesday's 7-1 victory over San Diego, allowing no runs on a hit and two walks with four strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Pitching against his former team, Davies recorded more strikeouts than base runners allowed for the first time this season. He's pitched extremely well of late with a 2.18 ERA over his last eight starts and five starts allowing one run or zero runs.
