Darvish allowed three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out 12 over eight innings but had to settle for a no-decision in Friday's extra-inning win over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
All three runs scored on solo shots, and Darvish exited the game on the hook for a loss before the Rangers rallied for two runs in the top of the ninth to tie it up. The 12 Ks were a season high for the right-hander, and if this was his last start in a Texas uniform before getting traded he went out on a high note. For the moment, though, he's still listed as the team's starter for Wednesday's home tilt against the Marlins.

The Rangers are reaching out teams who may be interested in trading for Darvish, Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Cubs appear to be among those intrigued organizations, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network. Texas continues to fade in the race for a wild card spot, and their clearest way to start a rebuild would be to trade their ace for a useful group of prospects. Darvish will become a free agent this offseason, so teams may not be willing to part with highly regarded farm pieces unless they can lock in an extension, which is unlikely, considering he'll probably want to test the market. Switching to the league without the designated hitter -- in a friendlier home park like Wrigley Field -- could at least buoy Darvish's dazzling season (3.45 ERA, 9.4 K/9, 3.0 BB/9 over 20 starts) and improve on his 6-8 record. NL-only fantasy players who've hoarded their FAAB and need pitching help are crossing their fingers that this will happen.

Darvish surrendered three runs (two earned) on eight hits over 6.2 innings Sunday in Kansas City. He walked one and struck out six in the no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish allowed Whit Merrifield to score on a wild pitch in the first inning, then surrendered a third-inning RBI double to Mike Moustakas before getting charged with an unearned run thanks to a seventh-inning error by left fielder Nomar Mazara. Mazara made up for his miscue by taking Darvish off the hook with a game-tying RBI single in the eighth, but that ultimately wasn't enough as the Royals unsurprisingly broke through against Texas' bullpen in the bottom of the ninth. The so-called ace hasn't pitched like one in a while now, with just one win in his past 10 starts. Darvish will look to right the ship Friday in Tampa Bay.

Darvish (6-8) allowed two runs on three hits over 7.1 innings in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Angels. He walked four and struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish pitched well enough to win, but the Texas offense mustered just two hits off JC Ramirez and the Los Angeles bullpen. The All-Star break comes at the perfect time for the Japanese right-hander, who's 0-4 in his past five starts. He'll look to get back on track next Sunday against a Royals team that's scoring the sixth-fewest runs per game in MLB.

Darvish is listed as the Rangers' scheduled starter for Sunday's game against the Angels, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rather than turning to Martin Perez for two starts this week after he was activated from 10-day disabled list ahead of Monday's outing, the Rangers will instead have Darvish make a second turn in the rotation before the team heads into the All-Star break. The Sunday assignment means that Darvish, who was lit up for seven runs in 4.1 innings in Tuesday's loss to the Red Sox, will likely have to opt out of pitching for the American League in the All-Star Game on July 11, as he would only have one day to recover.

Darvish (6-7) surrendered seven runs on 11 hits over 4.1 innings in Tuesday's 11-4 loss to the Red Sox. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
It was the 30-year-old's shortest outing of the year to date, while the 11 hits and seven runs allowed were also season worsts. Darvish hasn't been as dominant in 2017 as he was in the past, but his 3.56 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 9.6 K/9 still have plenty of fantasy utility. His next start will come after the All-Star break.

Darvish (6-6) allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits and one walk to take the 5-3 loss to the Indians on Wednesday. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish was tagged for all three runs in the first three innings before settling in to notch his 12th quality start in 17 tries this season. According to Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Darvish said his triceps, which tightened up during his last start, was on the back of his mind early on, but not to the point where it altered his pitches. He said he felt fine after throwing 101 pitches. The 30-year-old, who owns a 3.11 ERA and 115:37 K:BB ratio in 107 innings this season, is lined up for two starts before the All-Star break; Monday against the Red Sox and July 9 against the Angels.

Darvish (triceps) will make his next start Wednesday against the Indians, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish left Friday's game before the eighth inning with triceps tightness during one of his best starts of the season. The right-hander only allowed two hits while striking out 10 and could have likely gotten to the ninth inning since he only tossed 88 pitches at the time of his exit. The Rangers could monitor his pitch count a bit more closely for Wednesday's game, but he should be a reliable option for fantasy purposes.

Darvish (triceps) says he expects to make his next scheduled start Wednesday against the Indians, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish was removed before the eighth inning of Friday's game due to triceps tightness, though the move was ultimately said to be precautionary. He was able to play catch Saturday with no issues, indicating that he should be ready to take his next turn in the rotation when it comes around Wednesday.

Darvish was pulled as a precautionary measure before the eighth inning of Friday's start against the Yankees with triceps tightness, Emily Jones of Fox Sports Southwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish had needed just 88 pitches to throw seven shutout innings, so it was assumed that something was up when he didn't come out for the eighth. Given Darvish's injury history, it's understandable that the Rangers didn't want to push him at even the slightest hint of tightness. As this move was called precautionary, he shouldn't be expected to miss a start, but his progress should be monitored throughout the week.
