Buehler exited Friday's game against the Braves with an apparent injury, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler made it through 5.1 innings, allowing one run on two hits while striking out four before being lifted from the game. The trainer came out to check on Buehler in the sixth, and it was determined that he couldn't continue. The location and severity of the injury is unknown, but more news about his status should be released in the near future.

Buehler didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 12-4 win over the Rockies, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks over five innings while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie emerged relatively unscathed from his first start at Coors Field, giving up a four-spot in the second inning but otherwise keeping the Rockies off the board. Buehler threw 54 of 84 pitches for strikes, and Saturday was the first time in eight trips to the mound this season in which he struck out fewer than six batters. He'll carry a 2.74 ERA into his next outing Thursday in Pittsburgh.

X-rays on Buehler's ribs were negative after Monday's game against the Rockies, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander was fortunate to avoid a serious injury after being struck by a 108-mph comebacker off the bat of Trevor Story. Buehler appeared in serious pain but convinced the training staff and manager Dave Roberts that he was fine to continue on. He completed two-plus frames after the incident to lower his ERA to 2.38 through 34 innings this season. While Buehler may only have 100 innings or so left in his arm this season, the quality of his innings should remain extremely high.

Buehler allowed one run on two hits and struck out six over seven innings but was stuck with a no-decision Monday against Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
For the second time in his past three outings, Buehler didn't walk a single batter. The only blemish on his night was a fifth-inning solo home run by Gerardo Parra. Otherwise, Buehler was brilliant, as he kept hitters off balance all night with a blazing fastball that topped out at 97.3 mph and an array of breaking pitches (changeup, slider and knuckle-curve) that held opposing hitters to 0-for-7 on balls in play. Buehler is 2-1 with a 2.38 ERA and could have an even stronger record if only the Dodgers offense would give him some support, but alas, they were only able to muster one run against Colorado's German Marquez. Buehler will look for his third win again Sunday against the Padres.

Buehler will remain in the Dodgers' starting rotation, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler was up originally as just an injury fill-in, but after throwing six innings of no-hit ball Friday against the Padres he's now viewed as a permanent member of the rotation. Through 16 innings so far this season, the young righty has a 1.13 ERA. His 11.1 percent walk rate is a bit high, but he more than makes up for it with a stellar strikeout rate (30.2 percent) and groundball rate (63.9 percent). His innings total could be a concern, as he threw just 98 innings last year, but with the Dodgers already six games back of the Diamondbacks in the NL West, that's a problem they'll have to wait to address.

Buehler was recalled from High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Buehler will head to the majors to start Friday's contest with the Padres in Mexico. The young starting pitcher will duel with Joey Lucchesi in the series opener. To make room for him on the active roster, Edward Paredes was optioned to Triple-A.

Buehler will be called up to start Friday's game against the Padres, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Already tabbed as Hyun-Jin Ryu's replacement in the rotation, Buehler is set to come up for a more extended period with the big league club starting Friday. Buehler made two starts for the Dodgers recently, notching 11 strikeouts over 10.0 innings while allowing just two earned runs when Rich Hill was on the shelf. Buehler's spot in the rotation appears to be safe for the duration of Ryu's stay on the DL, but he certainly has the potential to stick with the big league club beyond that point if he continues to pitch well.

Buehler will replace Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) in the starting rotation, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Ryu expected to be sidelined into the second half of the season, the Dodgers will turn to Buehler to fill the void in their rotation. The 23-year-old, who is scheduled to start Friday against the Padres in Monterrey, Mexico, has already made a pair of starts for the big-league club this season, posting a 1.80 ERA and 11:4 K:BB across 10 innings. According to J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News, Buehler may not pitch every fifth day with the Dodgers looking to limit his innings, but it sounds like he should be afforded semi-regular turns in the rotation while Ryu is on the shelf.

Buehler is scheduled to start Friday against the Padres in Monterrey, Mexico, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler will serve as the Dodgers' 26th man for their upcoming series in Mexico, making him eligible to rejoin the big-league club for what will be his third start of the season despite being optioned to the minors less than 10 days ago. The 23-year-old, who last pitched Saturday against the Giants, will get the ball for the series opener, with Kenta Maeda and Rich Hill (finger) following him. Buehler owns a 1.80 ERA and 11:4 K:BB through 10 innings (two starts) for the Dodgers this season.

Buehler, who was optioned to High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday, is expected to be recalled over the weekend and start one game of the Dodgers' three-game series with the Padres in Monterrey, Mexico, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though MLB rules dictate that a player must remain in the minors for 10 days after being optioned barring the placement of another player on the disabled list, Buehler will be eligible to rejoin the big club a little early with both the Dodgers and Padres afforded a 26th man for the Mexico series. As such, Buehler's assignment to Rancho Cucamonga looks to be just a procedural transaction to afford the Dodgers some temporary roster flexibility since the 23-year-old wasn't going to be available until Thursday anyway after tossing 94 pitches in his second career MLB start Saturday against the Giants. Buehler could be in line for additional starts beyond his expected outing against the Padres in the event Rich Hill (finger) remains sidelined with an infection through the following week.
