Buehler (finger) was activated from the 10-day injured list prior to his start Thursday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
He has not pitched in a game since Sept. 8 due to a blister. He threw a 90-pitch simulated game Saturday, so Buehler should be able to handle a typical workload in his final start of the regular season. The 26-year-old righty has a 3.86 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 36 strikeouts in 32.2 innings.

Buehler (finger) will return from the injured list Thursday against Oakland, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler dealt with a blister during his last start on Sept. 8 and will wind up missing a little over two weeks. He threw a 90-pitch simulated game Saturday and is now ready to go. Thursday's start should function as a tuneup for Buehler as he's likely to be a part of the Dodgers' rotation in the postseason.

Buehler (finger) threw an 80-pitch simulated game Wednesday but will throw another before returning from the injured list, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler battled a blister during his previous outing and was placed on the injured list. He would have been eligible to start at some point against the Rockies this weekend, but the Dodgers can afford to be cautious, so they'll give him another simulated outing before he returns to action. He's expected to make one start in the final week of the regular season as a tune-up for the playoffs.

Buehler (blister) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday, retroactive to September 9.
EDGE Analysis
The blister issue emerged during the right-hander's Wednesday outing in which he lasted just 2.2 innings against the Diamondbacks. The Dodgers were hopeful that he would be able to make his next scheduled start, but now he will miss at least one turn through the rotation. He will be eligible to be activated from the injured list Sept. 20.

Buehler gave up five runs (two earned) while striking out two over 2.2 innings Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, and he was seen picking at his blister on the bench after exiting. Manager Dave Roberts said he expects Buehler to make his next start but added "nothing is off the table," according to Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler said the blister, which landed him on the injured list earlier this season, is something that he and the team are trying to figure out how to deal with. He touched 100 mph with his second pitch of the start, but a blister is more likely to affect a pitcher's ability to throw and locate offspeed pitches. Buehler gave up a pair of home runs and issued zero walks while throwing 41 of 61 pitches for strikes. His next turn would be Monday in San Diego, but the Dodgers' top priority now will be getting him right for the playoffs, so they could push him back.

Buehler didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's game between the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks. He tossed five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk while fanning six.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler has been pitching extremely well over his last two starts, allowing just one run across his last 11 innings. Buehler posted a 5.21 ERA in his first four starts, but he has improved that figure to a 3.60 mark after his last two strong outings following a stint on the injured list with a blister on his right hand.

Buehler (hand) was activated off the injured list as expected Wednesday ahead of his scheduled start against Arizona, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler will wind up missing just one turn in the rotation due to a blister. His 4.32 ERA through his first five starts is worse than his typical standard, though he's coming off an 11-strikeout, one-run outing against the Rockies his last time out. Scott Alexander was optioned in a corresponding move.

Bueler (hand) will be activated off the 10-day injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old was placed on the injured list last week with a blister on his right hand, but he won't end up spending much more than the 10-day minimum on the shelf. Buehler threw 30-plus pitches in a bullpen session over the weekend and shouldn't face significant limitations Wednesday, though he may not be cleared for his usual workout in his first start back. Clayton Kershaw's start was pushed to Thursday as a result of his return.

Buehler (hand) completed a 30-plus pitch bullpen session Saturday, Alanna Rizzo of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old landed on the injured list last week with a blister on his right hand, so the quick return to mound work is a good sign for his potential return. The Dodgers haven't indicated when Buehler is expected to be ready, but Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register speculates that the Dodgers could be targeting Thursday's series finale against the Diamondbacks for his return.

The Dodgers placed Buehler on the 10-day injured list Thursday after he developed a blister on his right hand.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler had been expected to take the hill for the second game of Thursday's doubleheader with the Giants, but he apparently came out of his most recent start Aug. 21 with the blister and was unable to overcome the issue despite having the last five days off to heal up. The IL move is retroactive to Aug. 23, so Buehler will be eligible for activation as soon as Sept. 2, and according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, the expectation is that he'll be able to rejoin the rotation next week after a brief stay on the shelf. Los Angeles called up right-hander Mitchell White to take Buehler's spot on the active roster, but it's unclear if White or someone else will receive the starting nod in the nightcap after Clayton Kershaw takes the hill for Game 1 on Thursday.
