Davis fired a perfect ninth inning, striking out one batter and earning the save in a 3-2 win over Oakland on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Davis has now converted his last 10 save chances, bringing him to 30-for-34 on the year. He's made three straight scoreless appearances after getting torched for five runs in just 1.1 innings against Houston on July 24. The 32-year-old is still a strong fantasy closer despite his 4.30 ERA.

Davis (0-3) took the loss Tuesday, allowing five runs on four hits and a walk while striking out one over 1.1 innings against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Davis came on to pitch the top of the ninth in a 2-2 game, and after sending down all three batters he faced on just seven pitches he came back out for the 10th. He allowed two singles, a walk, a triple and a home run while recording his lone out in the frame on a bunted foul ball strikeout. The five-run implosion was the first time in eight outings he'd allowed a run, and brings his ERA up to 4.61.

Davis was unavailable out of the bullpen during the Rockies' 11-10 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday due to a stomach ailment, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis fell ill at some point earlier in the day and spent the game in the team hotel to recover from the bug. With Davis away, Adam Ottavino stepped in as the Rockies' closer, covering 1.1 innings and notching his third save of the season. The Rockies will presumably re-evaluate Davis on Saturday morning and determine if he's fit to pitch in the second game of the series.

Davis got the save against the Mariners on Friday, striking out one without allowing a baserunner in a scoreless ninth inning to close out Colorado's 10-7 victory.
EDGE Analysis
Davis continues to rack up the saves, as this latest conversion leaves him tied with Kenley Jansen atop the National League with 26 on the season. He's had his share of rocky outings this season that have hurt his ratios, but this was his fifth straight scoreless appearance, bringing his ERA down to 3.82 and his WHIP to 1.14 through 37.2 innings.

Davis worked around a hit and a walk to finish a scoreless ninth for his 25th save Wednesday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Davis has converted five straight saves since blowing two chances in a row June 15 and June 19. Still, Davis has been much shakier than in previous years. His 4.15 ERA can't all be chalked up to Coors Field. Davis's K/BB is down nearly a full point from his 2016 and 2017 marks, as he has already walked 19 batters and is on pace to walk more than 30 for the first time since moving to the bullpen in 2014.

Davis worked around a hit in a scoreless ninth inning against the Giants on Monday to earn his 24th save of the season.
EDGE Analysis
He leads the National League in saves and ranks third in all of baseball behind Edwin Diaz (32) and Craig Kimbrel (25). Since his back-to-back blown saves in mid-June, Davis has gone 4-for-4 in save opportunities, easing whatever concerns there may have been about his stability in the ninth. He's allowed just one run on three hits in his last five appearances.

Davis picked up his 22nd save, pitching a perfect ninth inning with one strikeout in a 9-8 win over the Giants on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Davis is now 22-for-26 is save chances this season and 4-for-6 in the month of June. His 4.26 ERA was beefed up by a pair of atrocious outings earlier this month, but has been pretty strong aside from those hiccups. He still has a strong grasp of the closer role in Colorado.

Davis (0-2) recorded just one out Sunday, allowing four runs on four walks and two hits in a 13-12 loss to Texas.
EDGE Analysis
Davis has now blown two straight save opportunities. After ending May with a 2.35 ERA, it has now ballooned up to 4.55 on the year. The 6-foot-5 righty still has 20 saves on the season and should hold on to his role for the time being. However, Adam Ottavino (0.89 ERA, 14.2 K/9) is lurking right behind him.

Davis allowed one run on one hit in the ninth inning to blow the save Thursday against the Reds. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Working for the third consecutive day, Davis was anything but sharp in this one. While he struck out three of the five batters he faced, a hit-by-pitch followed by a single and a pair of wild pitches resulted in his third blown save of the season (and first since May 11). He still leads the National League with 20 saves while keeping a respectable 3.42 ERA and 31:12 K:BB across 26.1 innings this season.

Davis worked around a hit and struck out a batter in a scoreless ninth Monday against the Dodgers for his 17th save
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies have been reliable suppliers of close games, and Davis has done his job consistently, as he is now 17-for-19 in save conversions. Only five other relievers even have 15 save opportunities in 2018. This may be the only time one can ever say this about a reliever, but thus far in 2018, Wade Davis should count himself lucky that he landed in Colorado's bullpen.
