The young southpaw has pitched much better than expected since his arrival, but he'll be hard to trust next weekend in Cincinnati.

The left-hander is now 2-0 while allowing just two runs over his first 14 major-league innings. It's still unclear how long Lyons will remain with the big club, but when he's pitching like this it's hard to imagine the Cardinals doing anything but trotting him back out there in five days. His next start is scheduled for Sunday against the Giants.
