Tyler Lyons was pounded for five runs in 1 1/3 innings by the Red Sox on Monday. Lyons has pitched his way out of the rotation mix by giving up 13 runs in eight innings this spring. There probably won't be room for him in the pen, either, but that's fine; it makes more sense to have him start games in Triple-A.
