Tulowitzki went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer Sunday at the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Tulowitzki's fifth blast of the year blew open a close game in the ninth inning of a Blue Jays win. After finishing April in a 0-for-12 slump, he started off May on the right foot and raised his slugging percentage to .356.

Tulowitzki (hip) went 3-for-4 with two solo homers in Saturday's 9-3 victory over the A's.
EDGE Analysis
After going hitless in four at-bats with two strikeouts Thursday, and then being held out of Friday's contest with a hip ailment, Tulo turned in what was by far his most explosive performance in a forgettable campaign to date. The effort marked his first multi-hit game of the season, one of the reasons why his average remained at .188 even after the banner outing. Tulowitzki does have four homers in total on the season, but is otherwise slashing .179/.291/.373 line. However, Saturday's output might have been just what he needed to get his talented bat going in the right direction.

Tulowitzki (hip) is back in the lineup Saturday against Oakland, Jays play-by-play man Mike Wilner reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tulowitzki was held out of Friday's game with an undisclosed hip injury, but it's apparently nothing serious, as he's back at his usual shortstop spot Saturday. His status may be something to keep an eye on for a few days, but at this point it doesn't appear as though Tulowitzki will miss any additional time.

Tulowitzki is out of the lineup Friday with a hip injury, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
The extent of the issue is uncertain, but apparently Tulowitzki's hip flared up at some point during the Baltimore series. Tulowitzki underwent surgery on his left hip in August of 2014, although the team has not specified which hip is ailing him currently. Ryan Goins is filling in at shortstop Friday.

Tulowitzki is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the A's, Brendan Kennedy of the Toronto Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
There has been no word of an injury to Tulowitzki, so it seems this is simply an observation day for the struggling shortstop. After an 0-for-4 showing Thursday, Tulowitzki's early-season slash line sits at .150/.268/.267. Ryan Goins will fill in at short.

Tulowitzki is hitting just .125 against pitches in the upper third of the zone, way down from his career average of .337 on high strikes, the Jays Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran shortstop is slashing .128/.222/.255 through 47 at-bats. Struggling to hit the high fastball is uncommon for Tulowitzki and it most likely is a result of the high leg kick that he's added to increase his power. The 31-year-old has been waffling over his stride during the slow start and can't seem to get comfortable. Tulowitzki has been so terrible that he was passed over for the leadoff job when the Jays removed Kevin Pillar from the top spot this weekend (instead opting for Michael Saunders). It may be time to put the five-time All-Star on the pine until he can get things moving in the right direction.

Tulowitzki is struggling to find his way at the plate in the season's early days, going 3-for-28 with 12 strikeouts in his first eight games, Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
The five-time all-star conceded that his timing has been off in the early going. Tulowitzki changed his swing in spring training by adding a leg kick, but just eight games into 2016, he's dropped that and reverted to the toe tap he's used throughout his career. What particularly sticks out when you look at the shortstop's numbers is his contact rate, which sits at 72.2 percent over the first week, well off his career rate of 84.1. It's too early to make much of his struggles, but Tulowitzki looks more lost at the plate than ever before.

Tulowitzki went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's season-opening win over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Tulo hit fifth in the order Sunday and launched the season's first homer when he dispatched a shot over the left-field wall in the eighth inning. He could be in for a big season batting behind the dangerous trio of Josh Donaldson, Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion, and Sunday's results were exactly what fantasy owners desired from him heading into the season.

Tulowitzki went 0-for-3 and struck out once in a 2-1 win over Philadelphia Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Tulowitzki now holds a .286 average over 40 plate appearances this spring. The 31-year-old shortstop has not played a 130-plus game-season since he was 26 so it has been a while since we've seen what the five-time all-star can do in an entire year. If he can stay healthy, which is a big if, he should be capable of producing big numbers once again, especially considering he's on a Toronto squad that is loaded with offensive weapons.

Tulowitzki (hand) returned to the lineup Friday and went 1-for-3 with a double.
EDGE Analysis
Fortunately, Tulowitzki didn't suffer any fractures when he was hit in the hand by a pitch Wednesday against the Mets. He should be fine for Opening Day, in the wake of what should be a strong run in Grapefruit League play as he'll enter Saturday with a 10-for-35 (.286) mark that includes four homers and 10 RBI.
