Shaw is not in Saturday's lineup against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
As is typically the case, Shaw heads to the bench with lefty Madison Bumgarner on the hill for San Francisco. He is 4-for-21 with one home run and nine strikeouts in seven games since coming off the injured list. The Brewers were willing to give Shaw a chance to get back on track, but if he doesn't heat up soon, it seems likely that Keston Hiura will displace him at the in the lineup. Hernan Perez is starting at second base and hitting sixth.

Shaw isn't in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Giants, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw went 0-for-6 in his last contest Wednesday against the Astros, and he'll head to the bench with a lefty in Drew Pomeranz set to toe the rubber for the opposition. Mike Moustakas moves to the hot corner, opening the door for Hernan Perez to start at the keystone.

Shaw went 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 10-8 loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
The homer was his fifth of the season, and first in five games since coming off the the IL. Shaw has gone 4-for-15 (.267) since his return with a 5:5 BB:K, but his .173/.287/.307 slash line on the year remains poor.

Shaw is not starting Sunday against lefty Steven Brault and the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Since returning from the injured list, Shaw has gone 3-for-12 at the plate with four walks. He appears to be in an indirect platoon with Hernan Perez, who starts at second base against southpaws, pushing Mike Moustakas to third.

Shaw is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
After returning from the 10-day injured list earlier this week, Shaw started both of the first two games of the series, going 2-for-7 with a double. Shaw is expected to see the bulk of the starts at third base for the foreseeable future, though he may only occupy the large side of a platoon rather than handle a full-time role. Hernan Perez will pick up the start at second base while Mike Moustakas covers the hot corner in Shaw's stead.

Shaw (wrist) started at third base and went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk Tuesday in the Brewers' 16-0 loss to the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
In his first game back from the 10-day injured list, Shaw stepped into the lineup in place of Keston Hiura, who was demoted to Triple-A San Antonio to clear a spot on the roster for Shaw. Though Hiura certainly performed well enough to merit sticking around in an everyday role, manager Craig Counsell is apparently prepared to give Shaw the opportunity to work his way out of his season-long slump. Shaw's performance in the blowout loss was a step in the right direction, but he'll probably need to string together a few quality performances before warranting attention in shallower fantasy formats.

Shaw (wrist) was activated from the injured list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw is back with the Brewers after spending a couple weeks on the sidelines, which doubled as an opportunity to try and shake off his slow start -- a .547 OPS over 40 games -- in the minors. Shaw hit just .235 with a .681 OPS over 10 games with Triple-A San Antonio, but the results aren't everything during short rehab stints, and the Brewers felt confident he was ready to return. Shaw figures to play regularly at third base with Keston Hiura heading to San Antonio in the corresponding move and Mike Moustakas sliding back over to the keystone, but he will likely need to pick it up at the plate in short order with Hiura just a phone call away if needed.

Manager Craig Counsell said Shaw (wrist) is expected to rejoin the Brewers during the team's next homestand, which begins Tuesday against the Marlins, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Shaw has been sidelined since May 14 with a right wrist injury. He's currently rehabbing with Triple-A San Antonio, and he's expected to rejoin the Brewers after the Missions' weekend series against Triple-A Omaha, assuming everything goes off without a hitch. Shaw -- who hit just .163 in 40 games with the Brewers prior to landing on the shelf -- is hitting just .174 in six games with San Antonio, so it's unclear what role he'll fill once healthy, especially with youngster Keston Hiura holding his own at the keystone.

Shaw (wrist) went 1-for-10 (.100) with three walks over his last three rehab games with Triple-A San Antonio.
EDGE Analysis
The walks indicate Shaw is seeing the ball fine, but he is still struggling to make contact, and is now just 2-for-19 (.105) with no extra-base hits through five rehab games. Shaw is eligible to come off the injured list at any point, but with him still trying to get on track, and the Brewers having a team off day Wednesday, it's likely he will not be back until Thursday at the earliest.
