Rays pitching prospect Steve Geltz has been suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball after second positive test for a drug of abuse. Geltz made it up to the majors briefly with the Angles in 2012 before being traded to the Rays in the Dane De La Rosa deal. He's posted a 3.86 ERA with 19 strikeouts over 16 1/3 innings for Triple-A Durham this season. The 26-year-old will return to Durham once his suspension is up.
