Vogt is out of the lineup Sunday at Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt is 1-for-12 with four walks over his past five games and will head to the bench Sunday. Daulton Varsho will take over behind the plate for the Diamondbacks.

Vogt went 1-for-3 with a walk and a double in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt has started two of the last three games and will have an opportunity for consistent at-bats after the Diamondbacks placed Carson Kelly (toe) on the 10-day injured list. He and Daulton Varsho will share the catching position while Kelly is unavailable.

Vogt went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt delivered a two-run triple in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Arizona the lead a half inning after Colorado tied the game. It was the fourth consecutive game with a hit for the catcher, who is 4-for-10 with two extra-base hits and four RBI during the streak. Vogt, who is slashing .211/.302/.500, is clearly the backup to Carson Kelly (.339/.487/.696).

Vogt went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt got the start behind the plate for Game 1 of the twin bill and made his presence felt, as he launched his third long ball of the campaign with a two-run shot off Bryse Wilson in the second inning. The veteran has seen a fair share of time behind the plate this season and is making the most of his chances, as he has launched three homers in only 35 plate appearances.

Vogt went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored Tuesday in a 10-8 extra-innings win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt didn't start the contest, but he came in as part of a double switch in the sixth inning and managed to log four at-bats as the game extended through the 13th frame. He made an immediate impact for Arizona at the plate, slugging a two-run homer to break a 3-3 tie in the seventh. The veteran has seen a fair share of time behind the plate this season and is slashing .250/.250/.750 with a pair of homers through 12 plate appearances.

Vogt made his second start Saturday and went 0-for-3 in a 7-0 loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt has surprisingly started two of the first three games. It wasn't a shock to see him catch Madison Bumgarner given their history in San Francisco, but Vogt was back behind the dish for the third game. Carson Kelly entered the season perceived as the primary catcher, but thus far, manager Torey Lovullo started Vogt against the two righties the Diamondbacks faced. If there is a strict platoon -- Lovullo hasn't indicated there's one -- then Vogt would be in line for more at-bats than originally projected.

Vogt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt drew the start behind the dish with Madison Bumgarner on the mound. Though he struck out twice, he also took Tim Hill deep in the fifth inning -- going back-to-back with Tim Locastro -- for his first home run of the season. Carson Kelly still figures to earn the majority of starts at catcher for the team moving forward.

Vogt is starting Thursday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt will bat eighth while starting behind the dish during Thursday's Opening Day matchup. While Carson Kelly is slated to serve as the primary catcher for Arizona this year, Vogt could carve out at-bats, especially when Madison Bumgarner is on the mound.

Vogt caught Madison Bumgarner and went 0-for-3 in Tuesday's spring game against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt has been behind the dish for both of Bumgarner's Cactus League outings. The two worked together with the Giants in 2019 and have familiarity, but there's been no talk of Bumgarner having a personal catcher. He threw to Carson Kelly in all nine of his starts in 2020, which coincidentally was the worst season of the left-hander's career. Vogt, who will be the backup to Kelly this season, is 4-for-20 with three extra-base hits and two RBI over seven spring appearances.

Vogt (COVID-19) arrived at spring training Thursday, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt's arrival at camp was delayed by just over a week after testing positive for COVID-19 during intake testing. Given his fairly brief absence, the 36-year-old should have plenty of time to prepare for Opening Day and should serve as Arizona's No. 2 catcher to begin the regular season.
