Strider is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Brewers in Atlanta, Olivia Sayer of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
After making his most recent appearance July 28 in Kansas City, Strider will technically be taking the hill on eight days' rest, though the right-hander went through a full warmup Saturday before he was scratched from his scheduled start in the MLB Speedway Classic versus the Reds following a lengthy rain delay. Strider shouldn't be in store for any restrictions Wednesday, but since he won't be taking the hill for either of the first two games of the series with Milwaukee, he'll end up missing out on a potential two-start week.

Strider has been scratched from Saturday's start against Cincinnati due to the game being delayed over an hour by inclement weather, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Strider had already completed most or all of his warmup before the delay was announced, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com, so Atlanta is opting to go to a bullpen game rather than risk injury to the star hurler. Atlanta is off Sunday, so Strider's next start likely won't come until at least Monday against Milwaukee, but it's also possible he could be skipped altogether until his next scheduled turn. It's not yet clear which reliever will start Saturday for Atlanta if the game takes place.

Strider (5-8) picked up the win Monday at Kansas City, conceding two runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The Atlanta right-hander did not have his sharpest stuff, as evidenced by his paltry five whiffs out of 96 total pitches. Strider gave up both runs during a three-hit first frame, as he worked around seven total hits allowed, which matched his season worst set July 4 against Baltimore. Across 77.2 total innings, the 26-year-old has pitched to a 3.71 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 92:32 K:BB while yielding 10 long balls. Strider currently lines up to make his next start during the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway against Cincinnati this weekend.

Strider (4-8) took the loss against the Giants on Wednesday, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks with seven strikeouts over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Strider was tagged for two homers in the fifth inning and managed just one clean frame, throwing only 59 of 104 pitches for strikes. It ends a run of four straight quality starts for the 26-year-old, though he's still allowed three earned runs or fewer in nine consecutive outings. He'll take a 3.72 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 89:30 K:BB over 72.2 innings into a road matchup with the Royals next week.

Strider (4-7) picked up the win after throwing six shutout innings, allowing three hits and three walks while striking out eight, during Friday's 7-3 win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
As far as starts to the second half go, it'd be hard to imagine a better one for Strider. He put up all zeros in a start for the second time this season, with the other start coming June 14 against the Rockies. That start against Colorado marked the beginning of a seven-start streak of allowing three runs or fewer that is still ongoing. Over that time, the 26-year-old is 4-2 with a 2.55 ERA and 58 strikeouts across 42.2 frames.

Strider allowed three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out 11 over 6.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Strider got off to a shaky start, allowing a three-run home run to Tyler Soderstrom in the first inning. That would be all the damage on Strider's ledger for the game, and he was able to dial up double-digit strikeouts for the second time this season. He's allowed three homers and six total runs over 12.2 innings in July after going five starts without giving up a long ball. The Atlanta ace is at a 3.94 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 74:24 K:BB over 61.2 innings over 11 starts this season, and he's gone at least five innings in eight straight outings. Strider will get some time to rest over the All-Star break before likely taking the mound at home versus the Yankees next week.

Strider (3-7) took the loss Friday as Atlanta was downed 3-2 by the Orioles, giving up three runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander delivered his fifth quality start in his last six trips to the mound, but homers by Jordan Westburg in the third inning and Cedric Mullins in the fifth -- as well as a lack of run support -- stuck Strider with the loss. Over that six-outing stretch, he's posted a 3.00 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB in 36 innings as he inches closer to his pre-injury form. Strider will try to keep the ball in the yard in his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next week against the A's.

Strider (3-6) yielded two runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out four and taking a loss against Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Strider worked through four shutout frames before the Phillies broke through and scored a pair in the fifth inning. He was handed the tough-luck loss after Atlanta's offense managed only one run. Strider threw 56 of 95 pitches for strikes and forced 10 whiffs, including seven with his slider. Strider had racked up 29 punchouts during a three-start winning streak before Sunday's outing. He now owns a 3.86 ERA with a 57:20 K:BB across 49 innings. Strider is in line for a home matchup against the Orioles next weekend.

Strider (3-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Mets, giving up three runs on two hits and four walks in five innings. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Strider struggled with his control on a sweltering night in New York, walking a season-high four, but he was still able to strike out at least eight in his third straight start. The hard-throwing right-hander produced a strong 15 whiffs, and he kept a dangerous Mets lineup in check with just two singles allowed. Strider is still searching for a groove in 2025 while coming off Tommy John surgery, and he'll aim to improve on his 4.07 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 53:17 K:BB over his first 42 frames at home versus the Phillies his next time out.

Strider (2-5) registered the win Thursday against the Mets, giving up one run on five hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Strider followed up on his 13-strikeout performance his last time out with another heavy dose of swing-and-miss stuff Thursday. The hard-throwing right-hander whiffed 18, and he's now logged his two highest strikeout totals for the season in his past two starts. Strider owns a 3.89 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 45:13 K:BB through his first 37 innings in 2025, and he's now put together a three-game streak of quality starts. He's tentatively set to take the ball against these same Mets next week, this time on the road.
