Strider is set to receive an additional day of rest before his next start and isn't expected to return to the hill until Monday's game against the Cubs in Chicago, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After delivering seven innings of one-run ball in Atlanta's 2-1 loss to the Marlins on Monday, Strider had been lined to get his second start of the week this Sunday in Philadelphia. However, Atlanta is opting to have him swap spots in the pitching schedule with rookie Hurston Waldrep, who will take the hill Sunday on four days' rest after starting in Tuesday's 11-2 win over Miami. Strider may not be in line for any two-start weeks for the remainder of the season, as Atlanta plans to bring Chris Sale (ribcage) back from the injured list this weekend and move forward with a six-man rotation, even though the club will have every Thursday off in September.

Strider (5-12) took the loss Monday against the Marlins, allowing one run on three hits and two walks in seven innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
It was a much-needed bounce-back showing by Strider, who had given up 20 runs over his prior three outings to Monday. It was the first time the hard-throwing right-hander threw at least seven frames since June 29 versus the Phillies, and he yielded fewer than two runs for the first time since July 18 against the Yankees. Strider still has work to do in order to improve his 4.95 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 96.1 innings, and he'll draw a stiff challenge in Philadelphia for his next scheduled outing.

Strider will no longer make a start this weekend against the Mets, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Atlanta has reconfigured its rotation and will have Joey Wentz, Cal Quantrill and Bryce Elder as the starting pitchers this weekend versus New York. Strider (5-11) last pitched Monday against the White Sox, and he allowed seven runs on 10 hits and one walk across three innings. Strider struck out just two Chicago hitters and was saddled with his 11th loss of the season. He's been shelled in August in particular, as opposing teams have a 1.442 OPS versus Strider this month. It's unclear if Strider is being pushed back to pitch next week against the Marlins or if his turn in the rotation is being skipped altogether.

Strider (5-11) took the loss Monday against the White Sox, allowing seven runs on 10 hits and one walk in three innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Strider has been out of sorts since he was scratched from his scheduled Aug. 2 appearance against the Reds due to rain. The right-hander has given up at least eight hits and five runs in all of his last three starts, and he's failed to throw at least five innings in each of those outings. Strider now has a ghastly 6.92 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 45:16 K:BB over his last 40.1 frames since the beginning of July, and he's shaping up as a risky fantasy option against a formidable Mets lineup this weekend.

Strider (5-10) took the loss Tuesday against the Mets, allowing eight runs on eight hits and two walks in four innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
After getting knocked around for a season-high 11 hits allowed in his last start, Strider was hammered for a season-worst eight runs Tuesday. The two punchouts were also a season low for the hard-throwing right-hander, who has now been tagged for 13 runs on 19 hits over his past two outings. Strider has a 5.79 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 43:15 K:BB covering 37.1 innings since the beginning of July, so he'll be aiming to rediscover his form his next time out in Cleveland this weekend.

Strider (5-9) took the loss against Milwaukee on Wednesday, allowing five runs on 11 hits and one walk while striking out six batters over 4.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Strider not only gave up a bloated 11 hits during his time on the mound, seven of those knocks -- five doubles and two homers -- went for extra bases. He did flash his usual swing-and-miss stuff with 15 whiffs and six punchouts, but the Brewers' quality of contact when they did hit the ball doomed the right-hander to a poor outing. The five earned runs Strider allowed tied his season-worst mark and pushed his ERA on the campaign to a below-average 4.04. However, the veteran hurler had been hitting his stride prior to Wednesday, completing at least five innings and allowing three or fewer earned runs in each of his previous 10 starts, and he'll look to get back on that track in his next appearance, which is projected to come on the road against the Mets.

Strider is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Brewers in Atlanta, Olivia Sayer of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
After making his most recent appearance July 28 in Kansas City, Strider will technically be taking the hill on eight days' rest, though the right-hander went through a full warmup Saturday before he was scratched from his scheduled start in the MLB Speedway Classic versus the Reds following a lengthy rain delay. Strider shouldn't be in store for any restrictions Wednesday, but since he won't be taking the hill for either of the first two games of the series with Milwaukee, he'll end up missing out on a potential two-start week.

Strider has been scratched from Saturday's start against Cincinnati due to the game being delayed over an hour by inclement weather, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Strider had already completed most or all of his warmup before the delay was announced, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com, so Atlanta is opting to go to a bullpen game rather than risk injury to the star hurler. Atlanta is off Sunday, so Strider's next start likely won't come until at least Monday against Milwaukee, but it's also possible he could be skipped altogether until his next scheduled turn. It's not yet clear which reliever will start Saturday for Atlanta if the game takes place.

Strider (5-8) picked up the win Monday at Kansas City, conceding two runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The Atlanta right-hander did not have his sharpest stuff, as evidenced by his paltry five whiffs out of 96 total pitches. Strider gave up both runs during a three-hit first frame, as he worked around seven total hits allowed, which matched his season worst set July 4 against Baltimore. Across 77.2 total innings, the 26-year-old has pitched to a 3.71 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 92:32 K:BB while yielding 10 long balls. Strider currently lines up to make his next start during the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway against Cincinnati this weekend.

Strider (4-8) took the loss against the Giants on Wednesday, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks with seven strikeouts over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Strider was tagged for two homers in the fifth inning and managed just one clean frame, throwing only 59 of 104 pitches for strikes. It ends a run of four straight quality starts for the 26-year-old, though he's still allowed three earned runs or fewer in nine consecutive outings. He'll take a 3.72 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 89:30 K:BB over 72.2 innings into a road matchup with the Royals next week.
