Randy Wolf scattered six hits across eight scoreless innings of work on Monday, improving to 10-8 in Milwaukee's 3-0 win over the Dodgers. Wolf issued five free passes this evening, but it didn't matter against a Dodgers offense that looked typically punchless. The quality start was his seventh straight. The owner of a 2.34 ERA since the All-Stra break, Wolf will get the Mets in New York on Saturday.

Randy Wolf held the Cardinals to just one run on five hits in eight innings of work on Wednesday evening, moving to 9-8 in Milwaukee's 5-1 win in St. Louis. He struck out one and walked zero. An excellent bounce-back outing for Wolf after he allowed five runs on nine hits against this same Cardinals team last Wednesday. He'll take a 3.48 ERA and 1.31 WHIP into his Monday start against the Dodgers.

Randy Wolf held the Diamondbacks to three runs (two earned) on eight hits and one walk in 7 1/3 innings on Monday evening, but still got stuck with the loss in a 3-0 Brewers setback. He struck out three, with his only real mistake coming in the sixth inning, where he served up a two-run homer to Ryan Roberts. The quality start was Wolf's second straight after he allowed 11 runs in just 13 innings of work in his June 30 and July 5 outings. For the season, he is now the owner of a 3.58 ERA and 1.33 WHIP.

Randy Wolf moved to 6-4 Friday, as he allowed three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five over seven innings in a 4-3 win over the Twins. Wolf's only blemish was a three-run shot served up to Danny Valencia in the sixth inning. The left-hander has really been terrific since mid-May, posting a 2.41 ERA over eight starts despite winning just three of those outings. He now holds an impressive 3.20 ERA and 1.25 WHIP on the year. Wolf faces the Yankees next.
