Ramiro Pena went 2-for-2 with a triple, a steal and three runs scored in the Yankees' 11-0 defeat of the University of South Florida on Friday. Pena spent all of 2010 and much of 2011 on the Yankees' roster, but it doesn't look like he'll be a candidate for this year's team unless an infielder gets hurt. Eduardo Nunez and Eric Chavez are set to occupy bench roles for the Bombers. Pena does have an option year left (since he never burned one in 2010), so unless someone offers up a prospect for him, he'll probably open the season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
