Davis left Saturday's game with an undisclosed injury, MLive's James Schmehl reports. He was replaced by Ezequiel Carrera and should be considered questionable for Sunday's season finale.

Davis is out of the lineup Monday against the White Sox, MLB.com's Jason Beck reports. The Tigers will give Ezequiel Carrera a spin in center field Monday, ending a run of nine straight starts for Davis. The 33-year-old speedster should benefit from the maintenance day with a probable postseason berth looming for the Tigers.

Davis has been added to Tuesday's lineup. With Nick Castellanos scratched due to left foot soreness, Don Kelly will move in to occupy the hot corner as Davis steps in at center. Davis is batting .297/.316/.405 but has just one steal in three attempts so far this month.

Davis is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Twins, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports. Davis will turn center field over to Don Kelly following four straight starts, as it seems manager Brad Ausmus is intent on keeping the lefty-swinging Kelly involved with occasional starts. Kelly is just 1-for-10 so far in September but does have an OBP close to 20 points higher than Davis'.

Davis is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Royals. Davis will surrender center field to Don Kelly for the third time in four games, with a right-hander starting for the opposition. It's probably too early to call the two players platoon mates, but Davis owners may want to keep an eye on the situation over the next few days just to be on the safe side. Because of his superior speed (32-for-42 in stolen base attempts), Davis would carry far more fantasy value in a regular role than Kelly would.

Davis is out of the lineup again Monday against the Royals. It's unclear why Davis will ride the pine for the second straight day, but he will sit in favor of the Don Kelly in center field. Davis is hitting .286/.328/411 this season with the Tigers, and also has 32 stolen bases.

Davis is out of the lineup Sunday against the Giants. Davis will take the day off Sunday following a 2-for-4 day at the plate Saturday. He will yield the start to Don Kelly in center field, who will bat sixth for the Tigers.

Davis is out of the lineup Monday against the Indians. Davis will carry a four-game hitting streak with him to the bench Monday. Ezequiel Carrera will start in center field in his place and bat ninth for the Tigers.

Davis is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox. Davis will get a day off after starting the last five games. Ezequiel Carrera will get the start in center field in Davis' place.

Davis is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Twins. With Davis just getting over a thumb injury, manager Brad Ausmus will limit the 33-year-old's workload in Saturday's twin bill. Ezequiel Carrera will man center and bat second in the matinee, but look for Davis to be available off the bench and in the lineup for Game 2.
