Goldschmidt went 2-for-2 with two walks, two home runs and three RBI in a 5-4 win over the Reds during the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader.
EDGE Analysis
He opened the scoring on the afternoon with a solo shot in the first inning and then launched a game-winning two-run shot in the fourth, with both blasts coming off Wade Miley. After going 0-for-2 in the nightcap, Goldschmidt is batting .287 on the season with 24 homers, 10 steals, 74 runs and 82 RBI through 130 contests. Goldschmidt has now gone yard three times over the last two days entering Wednesday's nightcap.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Monday's 3-1 win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt launched a two-run homer off Luis Castillo in the first inning to get the Cardinals going. The veteran slugger is enjoying a terrific August, going 36-for-103 (.350) with 15 extra-base hits and 24 RBI in 26 games. He's up to 79 RBI with 51 extra-base hits and an .833 OPS through 554 plate appearances this season.

Goldschmidt, who went 2-for-4 with an RBI single, a run-scoring double and a bases-loaded walk in a win over the Pirates on Saturday, went into Sunday's series finale with 22 RBI in 24 August games and a .333 average with runners in scoring position on the season.
EDGE Analysis
The slugger has been raking throughout the second half of the season and has served as one of the best clutch hitters in all of baseball of late. Goldschmidt's RBI career high is a lofty and likely unreachable 125 (2013); however, at 77 RBI with 34 games remaining, he would appear to have a fighting chance of eclipsing the 97 runs he knocked in back in 2019, which currently serves as his best tally over the last four campaigns.

Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple in a win over the Pirates on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
There seems to be no end in sight to Goldschmidt's second-half surge, much to the delight of fantasy managers. The veteran slugger has been especially lethal during the latter portion of August, as he's compiled a .404 average, 1.227 OPS and 11 extra-base hits (seven doubles, Friday's triple, three home runs) while striking out at a minuscule 6.0 percent clip over 50 plate appearances.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs, a walk, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 3-2, extra-inning win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran carried St. Louis' lineup, accounting for two of its five hits and scoring each of its three runs. Goldschmidt now has multiple hits in 12 of his last 18 games, a span during which he's hit .370 with seven doubles, four home runs and 15 RBI. The first baseman's batting average has increased each month this season after being .214 in April, and he's now slashing .282/.349/.471 with 21 home runs and 73 RBI in 2021.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and an additional run scored in Sunday's win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The star slugger is seeing the ball well of late, but he was riding a homer drought that extended for 13 games before he went deep in this one with a solo shot in the fifth inning off reliever Kyle Keller. Goldschmidt's hitting streak has reached 11 games and has recorded multi-hit contests in all but one of his last seven contests, so he continues to be one of the most dangerous bats in the National League. He's slashing .355/.402/.526 through 84 plate appearances in August.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a double and a run in a win over the Brewers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
There seems to be no slowing down the veteran slugger, who has four consecutive two-hit efforts and six such tallies in his last seven games overall. Goldschmidt's extended hot stretch dates back nearly two months, as he's slashing .342/.404/.540 with 11 doubles, seven home runs and 28 RBI in his last 40 games.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run Wednesday in the Cardinals' 6-4 loss to the Brewers in 10 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt's first double of the night scored Tommy Edman and gave the Cardinals an early 3-0 lead, but Milwaukee clawed back from the early deficit to send the game to extras before prevailing in the 10th. Though Goldschmidt has now churned out three two-hit games in a row and is batting .345 in August, he's left the yard just one time this month and is on pace for his lowest home-run total in a full season since 2016 (24).

Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a double, one RBI, two runs scored and a steal in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt was busy in the first inning, knocking a single, stealing third and eventually crossing home in the three-run opening frame. He then ripped an RBI double and scored again in the second. The 6-foot-3 slugger has been on fire in August, going 16-for-50 (.320) with 13 RBI and three steals in 13 games. Goldschmidt's season OPS is up to .789 with 39 extra-base hits while going 9-for-9 in stolen base attempts.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored Saturday in the Cardinals' 9-4 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt had a hand in the Cardinals' four-run seventh inning that turned the tide in the game, driving in a pair of runs on a base hit. He would add another RBI to his ledger on a sacrifice fly in his final at-bat in the ninth inning. Goldschmidt will start at first base and bat second in Sunday's series finale.
