Kivlehan is getting a rare start in right field Saturday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins are rolling with lefty Chris O'Grady, and the Reds are giving Scott Schebler the day off from the starting lineup. He's hitting .214/.294/.388 in 109 plate appearances so far this year

Kivlehan is slashing .243/.324/.419 with four home runs in 74 at-bats this season.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old is seeing few opportunities as the Reds' fourth outfielder, with 25 of his at-bats coming as a pinch hitter. With right fielder Scott Schebler heating up in June, it's unlikely Kivelehan's role will change in the near future.

Kivlehan went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Kivlehan, a New Jersey native, had his two-homer game in front a large contingent of his family in the stands. It's a nice feel-good story for the 27-year-old who entered the game with two career home runs in 65 at-bats. He was only in the starting lineup with Billy Hamilton receiving a day of rest, though, so Kivlehan is unlikely to have much fantasy value moving forward.

Kivlehan went 4-for-5 with two runs and a solo home run during Saturday's win over San Francisco.
EDGE Analysis
Kivlehan has been impressive in limited playing time. He's only started four games this season, but the right-handed hitter has gone 6-for-11 against southpaws. It's a small sample size, but it's also worth noting for daily contests because utilizing Kivlehan when he's in the lineup will open oodles of cap space.

Kivlehan went 1-for-3 with a three-run RBI double, a run and a walk during Sunday's win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
A late addition to the lineup, Kivlehan made the most of his opportunity, and his double in the bottom of the sixth inning put the Reds up 6-2. The 27-year-old outfielder has been limited to just 21 plate appearances this season, so without more consistent at-bats, his fantasy value is capped.

Kivlehan was a late addition to the Reds' lineup after Zack Cozart was scratched, starting in left field and batting sixth.
EDGE Analysis
Originally Scooter Gennett was going to play left field to allow Adam Duvall a day off, but even after the late swap that moved Gennett to the infield, the Reds kept Duvall out of the lineup and slotted Kivlehan in.

Kivlehan was able to secure a spot on the Reds' Opening Day roster, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Adam Duvall, Billy Hamilton and Scott Schebler locked into everyday roles in the outfield to begin the season, it's not expected that Kivlehan will see many at-bats outside of pinch-hitting scenarios. The 27-year-old enjoyed a strong camp with the Reds, but doesn't profile as much more than a utility option over the long haul.

Kivlehan has likely made the Reds' Opening Day roster, according to MLB.com's Mark Sheldon.
EDGE Analysis
This assumes, as Sheldon points out, that the Reds don't pick up another player off waivers as they did with Scooter Gennett earlier Tuesday. He hasn't yet been added to the 40-man roster, however.

Kivlehan is hitting .381 with two home runs this spring and remains in the mix for a final reserve outfielder role, the Dayton Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Desmond Jennings, Ryan Raburn, Tony Renda and Hernan Iribarren all remain in the mix. A decision may not be made until early next week.

Kivlehan is 9-for-17 to begin spring training in his quest to win the final roster spot on the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Kivlehan was claimed off waivers from the Padres at the very end of the 2016 season, then outrighted off the Reds' 40-man roster after the season. He has an uphill battle to make the team, hurt further by the Reds claiming Christian Walker off waivers and adding him to their 40-man roster.
