Trout (toe) is back in the lineup Sunday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Trout exited Friday's game due to right toe discomfort and didn't start Saturday's contest, though he did appear off the bench to draw a walk. The issue evidently wasn't particularly serious, as he's back batting second and playing center field Sunday.

Trout left Friday's game against the White Sox with right toe discomfort.
EDGE Analysis
There were certainly several more worrisome diagnoses which could have emerged after Trout was removed for initially undisclosed reasons, so Trout owners and Angel fans can seemingly breathe a sigh of relief. It doesn't appear as though the center fielder will miss much time, as he's considered day-to-day.

Trout left Friday's game against the White Sox early for undisclosed reasons, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trout exited a one-run game in the fifth inning, a move which wouldn't make much sense unless some sort of injury were involved. No update has come from the team yet.

Trout went 2-for-3 with a walk, two-run home run and three runs scored Thursday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Trout took Brett Anderson deep in the third inning to record his 45th home run of the season. He now has three long balls in his past seven starts and has also recorded at least one hit in 14 of his last 17 appearances. Though it's no surprise, Trout has turned in another stellar campaign, maintaining a .293/.439/.647 line across 597 plate appearances.

EDGE Analysis
Trout kicked off the scoring for the Angels with a 437-foot blast to left field in the first inning. The long ball was his 44th of the season, tying him with Cody Bellinger and Pete Alonso for tops in the majors. The perennial MVP candidate is enjoying another otherworldly campaign, establishing his career mark for homers in a season while driving in 102 runs and slashing .293/.440/.646 in 589 plate appearances.

Trout went 1-for-3 with an RBI single, a run scored, a stolen base and a pair of walks in Saturday's 10-4 win over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Trout did his damage with a game-tying single in the second inning, and he promptly stole second base, his 11th steal of the year and the 200th of his career. Trout is the youngest player to record 200 homers and 200 stolen bases. The 28-year-old also scored on Albert Pujols' three-run homer in the eighth inning after drawing a walk. The center fielder is hitting .292/.438/.644 with 101 RBI and 105 runs scored in 128 games. Trout has only attempted 13 steals this year -- his lowest running rate since 2015.

Trout went 1-for-5 and drew three walks in a 7-6 loss to the Red Sox on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Trout missed Wednesday's game versus the Rangers with a sore foot, but he was able to play all 15 innings in Friday's marathon contest. However, he wasn't able to contribute any run production for the Angels. Trout has now drawn 103 walks while striking out 115 times in 127 games this season. He owns a .292/.437/.646 line with 43 homers, 100 RBI and 104 runs scored.

Trout (foot) relayed after Wednesday's 3-0 loss to the Rangers that he expects to rejoin the Angels lineup for Friday's series opener against the Red Sox, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports. "I'll be good to go on Friday," Trout said.
EDGE Analysis
Though his absence from the lineup Wednesday was initially believed to be a pre-planned maintenance day, Trout actually sat out on account of a sore right foot, an issue the outfielder said he had been playing through for a couple of weeks. Fortunately, the injury doesn't look to be a major concern, and Trout should benefit further from the Angels' team off day Thursday. Even while managing the sore foot, Trout has continued to light it up offensively in August, slashing .286/.423/.631 with eight home runs, 21 runs, 14 RBI and two steals in 23 games.
