Tauchman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tauchman started each of the last three games, but he still looks like the Yankees' clear fourth outfielder behind Aaron Judge, Aaron Hicks and Brett Gardner. Expect Tauchman's at-bats to remain fairly limited heading into the second half of the season.

Tauchman was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Wednesday's game.
EDGE Analysis
Giancarlo Stanton is once again on the injured list, this time with a right knee sprain, and Tauchman will be up to take Stanton's place on the active roster. Tauchman has homered four times at the highest level this year but his overall .212/.305/.394 line leaves much to be desired. As a lefty batter, Tauchman does not make for a natural platoon partner with Brett Gardner. Chances are, his starting opportunities will be sporadic.

Tauchman was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Monday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Tauchman was called up to the big club Thursday, and he went 1-for-9 with a walk in three games during his latest major-league stint. Giancarlo Stanton (shoulder) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday to take Tauchman's spot on the 25-man roster.

Tauchman was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
With Kendrys Morales (calf) landing on the injured list Thursday, Tauchman was summoned to provide the Yankees with an additional left-handed bat. The 28-year-old has appeared in 34 games for the big club this season, slashing .211/.306/.411 with four homers, a stolen base and a 30.6 percent strikeout rate in those contests. Tauchman could see some opportunities against righties until the Yankees get healthier.

Tauchman was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Wednesday's doubleheader against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old was called up as the 26th man and started both games in the outfield for the Yankees, going 1-for-6 with one RBI. Aaron Hicks (back) has officially rejoined the team, which is likely to keep Tauchman in the minors for the near future.

Tauchman will be back in New York as the 26th man for Wednesday's doubleheader against the Orioles, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tauchman was sent down on Sunday when Aaron Hicks returned from his back injury. He'll likely fill a bench role Wednesday before being sent back to the minors.

Tauchman was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Tauchman performed capably enough in an emergency for the Yankees, with his .213/.314/.427 slash line in 32 games being good for a 99 wRC+. With Aaron Hicks set to return from his back injury, Tauchman is no longer needed, but he'll be just one injury away from returning in a bench role.

Tauchman will start in center field and bat ninth Sunday against the Rays, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tauchman hasn't seen the severe decline in opportunities some may have predicted after fellow outfielder Clint Frazier returned from an ankle injury May 6. The 28-year-old will stick in the lineup for the fifth time in seven games since that date, with his solid .849 OPS on the month likely having something to do with manager Aaron Boone's decision to stick with him. That said, the Yankees outfield will get more crowded Monday when Aaron Hicks (back) likely returns from the injured list, which would essentially leave one regular starting spot up for grabs between Tauchman and Cameron Maybin. Both will be firmly relegated to full-time bench roles once one of Giancarlo Stanton (shoulder) or Aaron Judge (oblique) are back from the IL, though firm timetables for those two players haven't been established.

Tauchman is expected to lose out on everyday at-bats in the near future with Clint Frazier (ankle) set to return from the 10-day injured list ahead of Monday's game against the Mariners, Anthony Rieber of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Once activated, Frazier and Brett Gardner will likely be assured everyday roles in the outfield, with the final spot falling to either Tauchman or Cameron Maybin. Because Maybin has been the better performer of the two over the past week, he'll likely have superior odds of sticking as the third outfielder, though both Maybin and Tauchman will be relegated to bench roles when Aaron Hicks (back) potentially returns to make his season debut this weekend. Unlike Maybin, Tauchman -- who is slashing .176/.282/.392 with four home runs and 11 RBI in 85 plate appearances -- has a minor-league option remaining, so he could be sent to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre once the Yankees reclaim some health.

Tauchman is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
It appears as though Tauchman may simply be receiving an off day after a late-night game Friday. The versatile outfielder has gone 2-for-20 over the last five games, but it doesn't look like he's in danger of losing playing time for now with Aaron Judge (oblique), Giancarlo Stanton (shoulder), Aaron Hicks (back) and Clint Frazier (ankle) still on the injured list. Thairo Estrada will start in left field, batting eighth, while Cameron Maybin will start at right fielder, batting seventh.
