Moustakas went 2-for-4 with the Royals' only run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Twins.
Moustakas has received the move to the two-spot in the order well, hitting safely in seven of his first eight games and posting a 1.121 OPS over that span. Of course, that pace may be unsustainable, but he appears to have turned it around at the plate since posting a career-low .212 batting average in 2014.

Moustakas will bat second in the Royals' order on Opening Day, Matthew DeFranks of FOX Sports Kansas City reports.
Moustakas has been tearing the cover off the baseball this spring to the tune of a .911 OPS, and that was enough to move him up in the batting order after hitting near the bottom for the majority of last season. If he can continue to build off the momentum generated from last year's postseason run, Moustakas could once again be fantasy-relevant in mixed formats.

Moustakas went 1-for-3 with a grand slam home run in Monday's Cactus League game against the Rangers.
Moustakas continues to ride the momentum he generated last postseason, collecting two long balls and an .852 OPS over 50 spring at-bats. If he can carry this into the regular season, the 26-year-old could represent an excellent bounceback candidate in 2015. Following a career-low .632 OPS last season, the price tag for Moustakas will surely be low on draft day.

Moustakas and the Royals avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.64 million deal.
Moustakas was a key part of the Royals' run to the World Series, but he struggled in 140 regular season games, hitting just .212 with 15 home runs and a .632 OPS. The 26-year-old will return for another season as the starting third baseman, but he'll likely need to display marked improvement for the organization to commit to him long-term.
