Minor will have his next start bumped to Thursday against the Astros, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Minor was initially slated to match up against Oakland on Wednesday, but the Rangers wanted to provide an extra day of rest, and in turn a more difficult matchup for Minor. Bartolo Colon will slide up a day to start Wednesday against the Athletics.

Minor (3-3) allowed three earned runs on six hits while walking none and striking out nine across five innings to take the loss Sunday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Minor gave up runs in back-to-back innings but looked strong otherwise on his way to striking out a season-best nine batters. He generated a strong 15 swinging strikes on 90 total pitches, nine of which came on his fastball that was up a tick from his season average of 92 mph to 93 mph in this start. It remains to be seen if that is something that can be maintained moving forward as he looks for a way to improve upon his 7.25 ERA in the month of May.

Minor gave up six runs on eight hits in a no-decision against the Mariners on Tuesday, recording five strikeouts and two walks in 3.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Minor had his shortest outing of the season Tuesday, and it came on a start that saw him surrender the most amount of runs all year as well. Minor has allowed 18 runs over his last 22.1 innings, ballooning his ERA to 5.61. He has a decent 37:11 K:BB in 43.1 innings, but the .278 batting average against -- in addition to the .538 slugging percentage against -- show that he's simply getting hit too hard too often. His next start will come against the White Sox in Chicago.

Minor (3-2) took the loss Tuesday, allowing five runs on seven hits while striking out four and walking none over seven innings against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Minor was done in by the long ball in this one, allowing three home runs -- all in the first two innings. To his credit, the lefty was able to recover and toss five scoreless frames after that point, but the damage had already been done. He didn't allow a walk for the second time in three starts, but he's not striking batters out at a prolific rate either (7.2 K/9). He'll carry a 4.73 ERA into his next start Tuesday against the Mariners.

Minor (2-1) allowed four runs on nine hits and a hit batsman while striking out four over six innings to pick up the win in Friday's 6-4 victory over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Minor was staked to a 4-0 lead after half an inning, but promptly allowed runs in the first three innings to erase the Rangers' advantage. He settled down over the middle innings, retiring 11 of the final 12 batters faced, giving the Rangers an opportunity to re-take a lead they would not give up. Minor remains on a six-day schedule and will next start Thursday at home against the Red Sox.

Minor, whose turn in the rotation is due next Wednesday, could be pushed back a day, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
In Minor's start Friday, he threw a season-high 102 pitches, which was also the most pitches he's thrown since September 2014. Manager Jeff Banister is cognizant of Minor's recent injury history and plans to manage his workload. He said the club is committed to keeping him on at least five days rest, while acknowledging there may be times when he throws on a normal four-day rest cycle. Given that Minor hadn't thrown 100 pitches in a game for four years, and that the injured Doug Fister (hip) threw a bullpen Friday and is nearing a return to active duty, this appears to be a good spot to give Minor an extra day.

Minor (1-1) didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Mariners, giving up one run on six hits and a walk over 5.1 innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander threw 68 of 102 pitches for strikes and left the game in line for a win before Keone Kela and the Rangers' bullpen fell apart. Minor's return to starting duties has gone well so far, and he sports a 3.86 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB through 21 innings. He'll next take the mound Wednesday at home against the A's.

Minor allowed five runs on five hits and one walk over five innings in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
After giving up five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, it looked like Minor would easily take his second loss of the season, but the Rangers took him off the hook on the power of four home runs. The 30-year-old right-hander has pitched relatively well through the first three games, limiting baserunners (0.96 WHIP) and striking out nearly a batter per inning. He'll get a somewhat easier matchup next time out Friday at home against the Mariners.

Minor (1-1) grabbed the win Saturday against the Blue Jays by allowing one run on two hits and two walks across six innings of work. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
The lone blemish on the southpaw's ledger was a home run by Steve Pearce in his final inning. He wasn't overly accurate (54 of his 93 offerings went for strikes), but he limited traffic on the basepaths and ultimately lowered his season ERA to 2.53. Minor will look to build off this strong outing in his next start Friday in a road rematch with Houston.

Minor (0-1) allowed two runs on three hits and two walks with five strikeouts but lasted just 4.2 innings as he took the loss Sunday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Minor needed 93 pitches to get 14 outs, and given his injury history, there was no way the Rangers were going to push him. In relief last year, Minor was brilliant, as he struck out 88 in 77.2 innings with a 2.55 ERA. Better pitchers have fared worse in single starts against lineups as good as Houston's, but the jury will be out on Minor's ability to pitch well deep into games until he can prove he has the endurance.
