Conforto (undisclosed) was walking gingerly after he struck out and was removed from Wednesday's spring training game, but it's unclear as to what happened, Jesse Spector of the Sporting News reports.

For a note of caution, the Mets have limited Conforto's exposure to lefties -- only five at-bats -- and it'd be nice to see him get some shots against southpaws down the stretch to help evaluate his capability to be an everyday starter next year.
