Bourn (hamstring) is expected to need at least a week before rejoining the Indians, MLB.com reports. Bourn was scheduled to kick off his rehab assignment Tuesday by playing five innings before gradually working his way up to playing nine innings in back-to-back games over the course of about seven games.

Bourn (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday. The Indians have been noncommittal about Bourn's return date of late, but the beginning of an official rehab assignment indicates he is nearly ready to play again. It's not clear how many games Bourn will play before being activated from the disabled list, but he is on pace to return to the Indians later this week or sometime the following week.

More time on base will obviously lead to more steals; the wheels are still there as evidence by Bourn ranking fourth in the majors with seven triples.
