Taylor was removed from Sunday's game against the Tigers after being hit by a pitch in the head, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor was struck in the head by an 84-mph curveball but was able to walk off the field under his own power. The veteran outfielder is likely being evaluated for a concussion and should be considered day-to-day.

Taylor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
With Minnesota down 5-3 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Taylor got an improbable comeback started by taking Milwaukee closer Devin Williams deep on the second pitch he saw. The veteran outfielder has gone yard three times in the last five games, and through 11 contests in June, Taylor is batting .333 (11-for-33) with four of his 10 homers and five of his 11 steals on the season.

Taylor went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
His two-run homer off Yusei Kikuchi in the fifth inning opened the scoring, and Taylor then closed the books on the offense with a sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th. The veteran center fielder has gone yard in back-to-back games, giving him nine homers on the year, but his power surge has lasted for a few weeks now. Over his last 15 games, Taylor is batting just .250 (11-for-44), but seven of his hits -- three doubles and four home runs -- have gone for extra bases.

Taylor entered Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Rays as a pinch runner in the ninth inning, scoring a run and stealing two bases.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder couldn't have contributed much more without an official plate appearance, but his efforts on the basepaths went for naught. Taylor's glove has kept him in center field most of the season, and while his seven homers and 10 steals through 56 games does give him some deep-league fantasy value, his .226/.277/.406 slash line is unappealing in most formats.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Willi Castro will pick up a start in center field in place of Taylor, who appears to be getting a breather after he had started in each of the Twins' last eight games. Taylor has largely struggled at the dish in his first season in Minnesota, but he's getting on base at a .333 clip through his first five games of June and has contributed a solo home run and a pair of stolen bases.

Taylor went 3-for-3 with a double and two steals during Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Guardians.
EDGE Analysis
The Twins mustered up just five hits on the afternoon with Taylor responsible for three of them. He was also active on the basepaths, registering his first steals since May 9, but was left stranded each time with the rest of the team going 2-for-29. The 32-year-old notched his first multi-hit game since April 24 and his first three-hit game of the year, raising his slash line to .224/.246/.401 with seven homers, 18 RBI, 19 runs scored and a 9:57 BB:K over 164 plate appearances.

Taylor will start in center field and bat ninth in Wednesday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Even after slugging a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-3 loss, Taylor is still sporting an underwhelming .666 OPS on the season, but he looks like he'll be locked into a near-everyday role in center field nonetheless while all of Nick Gordon (tibia), Max Kepler (hamstring), Gilberto Celestino (thumb) and Trevor Larnach (illness) are on the injured list. Taylor will pick up his fifth start in six games Wednesday.

Taylor went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor took Alex Cobb deep in the fifth to extend the Twins' lead to 3-0. It was his sixth homer of the year and just his second since April 23. Taylor's defense has managed to keep him in lineups over the last few years, but he's slashing just .217/.266/.400 with 15 RBI, 16 runs and a 6:44 BB:K over 129 plate appearances. The 32-year-old struck out at a 23.9 percent clip while walking 7.8 percent of the time in 2022 but is currently sitting at a 34.1 percent strikeout rate and just a 4.8 percent walk rate so far this year.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Though he started in Tuesday's 5-1 win and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored, Taylor will be back on the bench for the series finale. He's now sat out five times in seven games and appears to have ceded the primary center field role to Nick Gordon.
