Taylor went 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of walks in the first game of a day-night doubleheader versus the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old came through in his platoon start, as he got the call against southpaw Justin Nicolino. The performance marked Taylor's first multi-hit effort since April 26 gainst the Phillies, but was also the fifth time in his last six starts that he's hit safely. Despite the success Saturday, he's still only slashing .198/.244/.315 over 111 at-bats this season.

Taylor is starting in center field for Game 1 against the Marlins on Saturday, Byron Kerr of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
With left-hander Justin Nicolino on the mound for the Marlins, Taylor will slot into the lineup in center field, replacing usual starter Ben Revere. Righty Kendry Flores is slated to take the hill for the Marlins in Game 2, so Taylor will likely return to the bench for the nightcap.

Taylor is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Cubs, according to Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor will come off the bench Friday with Ben Revere back in center field for the Nationals. Taylor started in center field in 22 of the 27 games Revere missed with an oblique injury, but with Revere back on the roster, he will slot back into the fourth outfielder role moving forward. His playing time figures to take a significant hit as a result, particularly since most of his at-bats figure to come against left-handers.

Taylor is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Cardinals, MASN's Dan Kolko reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor had started in center field and led off in four of the last five games for the Nationals, but will give way to Matt den Dekker for the Sunday afternoon matchup. Taylor is just 1-for-13 at the dish over his last three games, lowering his season OBP to .218 -- an unacceptable mark for a leadoff hitter. Perhaps a day off to clear his head will get the 25-year-old back on track.

Taylor went 1-for-4 with a solo homer Friday at the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor's third homer of the year led off the game in a contest the Nationals would go on to win. He's struggled mightily this month, as his slash line sits at .195/.232/.338.

Taylor is not in the lineup Saturday against the Twins, Chase Hughes of CSN Washington reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor has started the last five games in center field, but the Nats will go with Chris Heisey on Saturday against Twins starter Phil Hughes. Heisey will lead off, and he'll be joined in the outfield by Jayson Werth (left) and Bryce Harper (right).

Taylor had an all-or-nothing game Wednesday in Miami, going 1-for-4 with a solo homer and three strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
Sure, the homer is nice -- as is the fact that he's knocked extra-base hits in three straight games -- but Taylor has been a whiff machine lately, which doesn't bode well for his future as the Nats' leadoff hitter. He's struck out 11 times in the last six games and owns a miserable .211 OBP in the early going. But with Ben Revere (oblique) likely out for another couple weeks, Taylor will get his share of opportunities to right the ship in the near future.

Taylor is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies, according to Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor homered Friday but struck out four times over the last two games and is hitting just .154 on the season, so manager Dusty Baker decided to hold him out Sunday. Chris Heisey will man center field for the Nationals in Taylor's place.

Taylor is in the lineup and batting leadoff for Friday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
With Ben Revere on the 15-day DL, Taylor should see a lot more playing time in the coming games. The 25-year-old is hitting .138/.133/.138 in seven games this season.
