The two hits moved Kepler's batting average to an even .200 on the year, and this was his first multi-hit game of the campaign. Three of Kepler's four hits this season have gone for extra bases, so at the very least there's power in his bat. His fantasy value should increase once he starts making contact consistently. At the very least, he's expected to see regular playing time while Miguel Sano (hamstring) is on the DL.

Kepler was placed on the 7-day DL at Triple-A Rochester with a left groin strain, retroactive to May 23.

Interestingly enough, the Twins pulled the plug on Kepler without giving him much of a look in place of Buxton, as he hit .167/.286/.333 over nine games, but received just 12 at-bats.
