Kepler is hitting .336/.407/.534 with three home runs and 12 stolen bases for Double-A Chattanooga. Kepler appears to finally be putting it all together at age 22 after glimpses of his promise in stretches in the minors the past few years. He'll likely be promoted to Triple-A in the second half of the season.

Kepler, who was slowed by a forearm strain during spring training, is hitting .308/.351/.439 for Double-A New Britain. Kepler played six games at High-A Fort Myers to begin the season as he worked his way back from the forearm injury. It's nice to see him have a strong start to the year as he's had two lackluster seasons in a row. He's just 22 and may have a later development cycle since he started playing baseball late in his native Germany, but he'll need to show promise this season at Double-A to continue to be considered a top prospect in the organization.

Kepler has been added to Minnesota's Arizona Fall League roster for 2014, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Kepler is hitting just .258/.330/.416 at Low-A Fort Meyers, but has improved in the second half by hitting .291/.341/.423 since the All-Star break. It's his second trip to the AFL. Kepler came to the Twins as a raw teenager in 2009 and at age 21 he needs to start putting up better numbers to remain a high-profile prospect.

Twins prospect OF Max Kepler hit his first home run of the season, a grand slam, Sunday for High-A Fort Myers. Kepler, 21, had gotten off to a slow start in the Florida State League with five hits through his first 10 games, but he's picked up the pace as of late with a .278/.333/.472 batting line and nine RBI in his last 10 contests. Kepler also sports a solid 7/6 strikeout-to-walk ratio on the season, so expect his batting average to improve with more at-bats.

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Max Kepler is set to open 2014 with the high-A Fort Myers Miracle of the Florida State League. The left handed-hitting Kepler, who was born and raised in Germany by his parents who are professional ballet dancers, will be looking to improve on his lackluster 2013 campaign, where he hit only .237/.312/.424 with nine home runs. Kepler will be part of an outfield with tremendous potential, as he will be joined by Adam Brett Walker II. If things begin to click for Kepler, he could shoot up prospect lists.
