Kepler is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler will get the night off Wednesday with the Twins employing a righty-heavy lineup against Royals starter Danny Duffy. Kepler's replacement in the outfield, Logan Schafer, also hits left-handed, but will get the nod because he is considered the better defender of the two.

Kepler is out of the lineup Monday against the Royals, MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler struck out five times in seven at-bats during Sunday's 12-inning loss to the White Sox, so Twins manager Paul Molitor will give the youngster the afternoon off to clear his head. The outfielder had struck out just four times in his preceding five games, so Sunday's performance shouldn't concern fantasy owners too much. Logan Schafer will replace Kepler in right field in Monday's series opener.

Kepler went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI in Thursday's loss game against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Kepler's two-run double in the eighth inning gave him 55 RBI on the year, most among AL rookies. The 23-year-old has hit safely in 15 of 23 games during August to earn his highest on-base percentage of any month this season. On the other hand, the outfielder's power has dipped a bit as Kepler is currently in the midst of a season-long 20 game homerless streak.

Kepler is out of the lineup Sunday against the Royals, MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Squaring off against southpaw Danny Duffy and the Royals, Kepler and his left-handed bat will take a seat, opening the door for Danny Santana to get the start in right field. Kepler didn't start Saturday against a righty, which is a bit odd, as he'll end up getting three straight days of rest with a team day off on the calendar Monday. No injury has been reported, however, so look for Kepler to return during the upcoming three-game series against Detroit.

Kepler went 1-for-2 with three walks, a two-run homer and crossed the plate three times in Tuesday's game versus the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
A night after crushing three longballs, the right fielder went deep again on Tuesday for his 15th of the season. Kepler's third-inning shot gave him 13 blasts since June 25, the highest total in all of baseball during that span. He'll face Trevor Bauer on Wednesday, a right-hander who Kepler is 0-for-3 with one strikeout against so far this season.

EDGE Analysis

With the performance, Kepler became just the fifth in Twins history to hit three home runs in a single game, joining Justin Morneau, Harmon Killebrew, Bob Allison and Tony Oliva. He is now tied for third on the rookie home run leaderboard with Aledmys Diaz and Tommy Joseph with 14 apiece. Only Corey Seager (18) and Trevor Story (27) have more.
