Moore will undergo surgery Wednesday to address a meniscus tear in his right knee, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moore indicated earlier in the week he might be able to avoid surgery, but his brief attempt at rehab apparently didn't yield any improvement. More clarity on Moore's timeline for a return should become available once the procedure is completed, though the southpaw said he's hopeful that he'll need just 4-to-6 weeks to heal up if no reconstructive work is needed for the knee, per Beck.

Moore said Tuesday that he's optimistic that he can treat his sprained right knee through rest and rehab rather than surgery, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw has yet to formally decide whether to undergo surgery for the knee issue -- which he believes is meniscus-related -- but the lack of swelling he's experienced since suffering the injury in Saturday's start against the Royals offers encouragement that a procedure won't be necessary. In any event, Moore will almost certainly miss more than the minimum 10 days, paving the way for Daniel Norris to receive multiple turns through the Detroit rotation.

Moore and the Tigers are still determining whether surgery or rest and rehab is the better method for treating the sprained right knee he sustained in his start Saturday against the Royals, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With three strikeouts over three scoreless frames, Moore was well on his way to his second straight excellent outing to open the season before exiting with the knee injury. The Tigers announced just a two hours after Moore's departure that he would shift to the 10-day injured list, with the team anticipating that he would miss at least a couple of weeks. A firmer timeline for Moore's return should become available once it's decided how he'll treat the injury, but any surgical procedure would almost certainly increase the length of his absence. Daniel Norris will get the first crack at replacing the southpaw in the rotation.

Moore is heading to the injured list with a right knee sprain.
EDGE Analysis
Moore suffered the injury during his start Saturday against the Royals and left after three innings. It's unclear how much time he's expected to miss, but he'll be forced to skip at least one start. Daniel Norris is expected to take his place in the rotation.

Moore left Saturday's game with a right knee sprain, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The severity of the injury is not yet clear. He had been breezing through his start prior to being removed, throwing three scoreless innings with three strikeouts and just one hit.

Moore gave up no runs on two hits with one walk over seven innings in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Sunday. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Moore was exceptional, striking out six batters on his way to his first quality start of the season. It was a welcome sight for the left hander, who struggled through a disastrous 6.79 ERA last year. The southpaw will look to keep rolling in his next start against Kansas City Saturday at Comerica Park.

Moore will start the fourth game of the season for the Tigers, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Tigers will roll out Jordan Zimmermann, Matt Boyd, Spencer Turnbull and then Moore. This lines the lefty up to face the Blue Jays in Toronto on Sunday. Fantasy owners should tread carefully with Moore, as he struggled each of the last two seasons and didn't show much improvement this spring.

Moore allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits across three innings in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Rays. He walked one and struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Lined up against one of his former teams, Moore struggled and ran his final spring training ERA up to 5.48. The Tigers don't have a ton of better options for their rotation, so Moore should have a spot fairly well secured. However, after finishing the last two seasons with ERAs of 5.52 and 6.79, respectively, the lefty will have to show some improvement to garner attention from fantasy owners.

Moore tossed four scoreless innings in Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Yankees. He allowed two hits and struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Moore has been a little up and down this spring, but the strong outing lowered his Grapefruit League ERA to 3.97. The lefty might not be consistent from start to start this season, but he should have pretty good job security in a rebuilding Detroit rotation.

Moore allowed three runs on three hits over three innings in Tuesday's Grapefruit League loss to the Blue Jays. He walked three and didn't have any strikeouts.
EDGE Analysis
After starting his spring with two scoreless innings, Moore has allowed five runs over his last 5.1 innings of work. The lefty was bad in 2018, and while he probably has a pretty good hold on a rotation spot in Detroit, he doesn't look like a particularly trustworthy fantasy option at this point.
