Moore allowed five runs on nine hits and two walks with five strikeouts through 5.2 innings in a no-decision Monday against Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't as bad as his brutal 10-run outing last start against Cleveland, but Moore just can't keep the ball in the yard. He surrendered his fifth home run of the year to Leonys Martin, the nail in Moore's coffin in the sixth inning. Moore was bailed out by the Rangers offense Monday, but with a 7.71 ERA, his leash has to be getting short. He faces a tough task his next time out, as his next turn is scheduled for Sunday against the Astros.

Moore (1-4) allowed 10 runs on 11 hits and two walks while striking out one over four innings in Wednesday's 12-4 loss to the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
For the fifth time in six starts, Moore failed to reach five innings. The left-hander was around the zone, throwing strikes on 64 of his 92 pitches and first-pitch strikes to 19 of 25 batters, but he couldn't put hitters away. The Indians went 4-for-8 when the count reached 0-and-2. Maybe it was the eight days of rest between starts, but that only explains Wednesday's start. He has five other starts contributing to his 7.67 ERA. While pitchers have been removed from rotations for less, the Rangers may be stuck with him. Fellow starter Martin Perez (elbow) was placed on the disabled list, so shuffling Moore to the bullpen is easier said than done. And the organization has little in the way of depth options in the minors. For now, Moore is next scheduled to pitch Monday at home against Detroit.

Moore mopped up Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Blue Jays, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.
EDGE Analysis
Moore is still a starter, but was available out of the bullpen over the weekend, as the Rangers' six-man rotation has gotten all out of whack with one starter on a five-day schedule (Cole Hamels), one starter on a six-day schedule (Mike Minor) and the other four guys adjusting to those schedules. The left-handed Moore is expected to start Wednesday on eight days rest, so Sunday's relief appearance should be seen as him getting his work in between starts.

Moore will next start Wednesday, the final game of a series against the Indians, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
When Moore makes his next start, he'll have had eight days of rest between starts. In the meantime, he could be pressed into duty as an extra relief arm. The Rangers are trying to navigate six starters while keeping staff ace Cole Hamels on a regular five-day routine, so others, like Moore, could get an extra day or two between starts.

Moore allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two over five-plus innings in Monday's 9-4 loss to the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Moore left the game with the score tied, handing it off to a bullpen that has been maxed out early in the season, averaging 3.2 innings per game. The left-hander was at 86 pitches when he was pulled, so he had more to expend, but with four right-handers coming up, manager Jeff Banister made the move. It was the fourth time in five starts that Moore has been unable to give Texas six innings. The good news is that Moore has improved over his last three starts after a disastrous beginning when he had an 11.05 ERA after two outings. He'll look to drop his ERA (5.55) even further next Monday in Cleveland, although it it should be noted that the Rangers are working with a six-man rotation at this time. His next start could be moved around to accommodate staff ace Cole Hamels desire to remain on a five-day routine.

Moore (1-3) got his first win of the season Sunday, allowing one run (unearned) on five hits and two walks over seven innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
Moore failed to make it past the fifth inning in any of his opening three starts, but he was much better in this one, pounding the strike zone and inducing 13 swinging strikes. Despite the solid outing, the lefty still owns a 5.59 ERA -- just about in line with last year's 5.52 mark -- so he won't be on most fantasy radars unless he strings together more performances like this one. Moore will try to keep it going Monday in a home date with the Athletics.

Moore (0-3) took the loss against the Angels on Wednesday, allowing three runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander threw 57 of 96 pitches for strikes, and Wednesday's outing was actually his longest so far on the season. Moore's 8.76 ERA and 9:7 K:BB in 12.1 innings were not what the Rangers were hoping for when they acquired him, but he'll get a chance to turn things around Tuesday on the road against the Rays.

Moore (0-2) was rocked for six runs (five earned) on five hits in 3.1 innings, walking four to go along with just one strikeout in Texas' 8-5 loss to Toronto on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
It was the second-straight rough start of the season for Moore, who has given up nine earned runs in just 7.1 innings to start the year. He had a 5.52 ERA in 174.1 innings for San Francisco last year and has a 4.29 mark for his eight-year career, so Moore shouldn't be in the fantasy conversation unless a drastic turn-around happens to manifest.

Moore completed four innings and took the loss Saturday against the Astros, allowing four earned runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
Moore was roughed up by the Astros, something that can be said of a lot of pitchers. Despite the poor line, there are some positives to take from his performance, most notably that he struck out six batters. He relied heavily on called strikes so his strikeout total may not be sustainable going forward, but he showed enough in this start to at least warrant streaming consideration in positive matchups moving forward. There's no need to pick him up in most leagues, however, as he hasn't maintained consistent success since the 2016 season .

Moore is scheduled to start the third game of the season, March 31, at home against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Moore will be making his regular-season debut for the Rangers, who acquired the left-hander from the Giants during the offseason. He's a career 3-0 with a 1.42 ERA in three career starts against Houston, although those starts occurred before the Astros' batting order became loaded with dangerous hitters.
