Harvey (0-1) took the loss against the Brewers on Saturday, giving up four runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
Jonathan Villar and Jett Bandy both took Harvey deep, and he needed 95 pitches (63 strikes) to get 15 outs. While the right-hander's 13:3 K:BB through 15 innings is a big improvement on last year's ratio, he has yet to pitch into the sixth inning in a start, and his fantasy value will have a firm ceiling on it until he becomes more efficient. He'll take a 4.80 ERA into his next outing Thursday in Atlanta.

Harvey allowed four runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out just one batter through five innings during Sunday's 6-5 win over Washington. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
A step up in competition got the best of Harvey on Sunday. He cruised through five innings in his season debut against the Phillies, but Washington didn't have any trouble squaring him up for nine hits -- three for extra bases. Considering Harvey entered the season with a 5.78 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 6.9 K/9 though 36 appearances over the past two years, it's probably wise to expect him to have plenty more underwhelming outings similar to Sunday's. He lines up to face the Brewers in his next start.

Harvey allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out five across five scoreless frames Tuesday against the Phillies. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey was all business in his season debut, allowing just a walk and a second-inning single as he shut the visitors down. He left the game with 86 pitches under his belt -- a total that was inflated by 22 foul balls -- but unfortunately hadn't received any run support at that juncture and was left with a no-decision. After a couple of years lost to injury, it's tough to ask for much more out of Harvey in his 2018 debut. He'll face a tougher matchup against the Nationals in his next scheduled start.

Harvey will start Tuesday's game against the Phillies, Tim Britton of The Athletic New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
After Harvey's originally scheduled start was postponed due to inclement weather, the Mets decided to simply push his season debut back by a day. The 29-year-old has struggled with injuries over the previous two seasons, but he's healthy heading into 2018 and will look to carry a solid spring training (18:6 K:BB across 20 innings) into the season.

Harvey won't make his scheduled start Monday against the Phillies after the game was postponed due to inclement weather.
EDGE Analysis
The two teams will make up the game July 9 as part of a doubleheader. While the Mets haven't announced when Harvey will make his first start of the season at this point, the 29-year-old will likely push his scheduled outing back by a day and replace Seth Lugo's in the rotation Tuesday against the Phillies. If Harvey starts Tuesday, this could allow the Mets to move forward with a four-man rotation until Jason Vargas (hand) is ready to return from the disabled list.

Harvey will start the fourth game of the season for the Mets on Monday, beginning a three-game home series against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
His last two seasons have been as bad as his first three were good, and Harvey's 2.0 HR/9 last year was especially egregious. He might never return to the form he showed prior to undergoing surgery in 2016 to correct thoracic outlet syndrome, but the 29-year-old posted a solid 18:6 K:BB in 20 innings this spring, and the Mets would be content if he can simply give them 30 competitive starts this season.

Harvey gave up one run on five hits and two walks over 5.1 innings while striking out five in Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
He's been getting stronger as the spring has progressed, and Harvey now has a 15:4 K:BB over his last three starts and 15 innings. The right-hander hasn't posted a regular-season K/9 of 9.0 or above since 2013 due to his various injuries, but if he approaches that level of dominance again this season it would go a long way towards restoring his fading fantasy value, even if he isn't routinely delivering a sub-3.00 ERA the way he did early in his career.

Harvey gave up three runs on six hits and a walk over five innings while striking out eight in Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
After coughing up all three of his runs in the third inning, Harvey bounced back to fan the final five batters he faced, the final two on changeups. Miami wasn't exactly trotting out a big-league caliber lineup in this one, but it's still encouraging to see the right-hander have some success on the mound after his rough return from thoracic outlet syndrome surgery in 2017. Harvey still has a lot to prove, but a 13:4 K:BB in 14.2 spring innings is a step in the right direction.

Harvey coughed up five runs on six hits and a walk over 4.2 innings while striking out two in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
He gave up runs in the first, third and fifth innings, with the big blow being a two-run homer by Giancarlo Stanton that chased Harvey from the game. It seems like it's been one step forward and two steps back for the 28-year-old this spring, and while he's still ticketed for a rotation spot to begin the season, Harvey should be considered a very risky fantasy option in any format.

Harvey threw three scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out one, in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
While he's been keeping runs off the board through the early part of the spring, Harvey's 3:2 K:BB in five innings doesn't suggest he's quite ready to return to his pre-injury form. If the strikeouts begin to return, however, the 28-year-old could become an intriguing sleeper despite last season's 6.70 ERA and 1.69 WHIP.
