Harvey (lower body) will throw off a mound Wednesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey has been slowed by a glute strain early in camp, but the issue wasn't expected to be a significant one. He'll have over a month to build up for Opening Day so should have plenty of time to be ready, barring setbacks.

Harvey (lower body) has resumed throwing, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey was expected to be sidelined for a week and a half due to a glute strain, but he's back to throwing less than a week after suffering the injury. Barring any setbacks, the veteran right-hander should be good to go for the start of the season.

Harvey will miss a week and a half of action after straining his glute during agility drills Thursday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The oft-injured pitcher hit another roadblock in his career, this time before the season even started. Thankfully, it's early enough in spring training that Harvey will still likely be ready for the start of the regular season. Naturally, things can change over the course of spring training, but more on his status will become known once he attempts a return to action in a week and a half.

Harvey signed a one-year contract with the Angels on Tuesday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey heads to Los Angeles on a one-year deal worth up to $14 million, including $3 million of incentives, according to Jon Heyman of FancredSports.com. The veteran right-hander had a rough start to the 2018 season with the Mets but looked significantly better after being traded to the Reds, posting a 4.24 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 111:28 K:BB over 24 starts (128 innings).

Harvey didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Cubs, allowing four hits and a walk over six scoreless innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander outdueled Cole Hamels and exited the game in line for his eighth win of the year, but the Reds bullpen promptly coughed up three runs in the seventh inning as soon as Harvey left the mound. He'll take a 4.67 ERA into his next start Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Harvey (7-8) picked up the win Saturday against the Padres, allowing two runs on four hits and three runs across six innings. He struck out a season-high 10 batters.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey was dialed in Saturday, tossing 67 of his 98 pitches for strikes and racking up double-digit strikeouts for the first time since May of 2016. The veteran right-hander has now registered back-to-back quality starts to begin September, posting a 3.75 ERA and 1.17 WHIP with 13 strikeouts across 12 innings in those appearances. He'll look to keep things rolling in his next start, which will come on the road against the Cubs.

Harvey (6-8) took the loss Monday against the Pirates, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out three across six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey needed just 74 pitches (55 strikes) to get through six innings, but a pair of homers -- a solo shot from Adam Frazier in the first inning and a two-run homer from Gregory Polanco in the sixth -- spoiled his otherwise solid outing. He still salvaged what was his first quality start in three appearances, though he was stuck with the loss as Trevor Williams fired 6.2 scoreless opposite him. Harvey will carry a 4.95 ERA into his next start, which will come at home against the Padres.

Harvey didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 13-12 extra-inning loss to the Brewers, surrendering five runs on 11 hits over four-plus innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
After giving up two runs in the first inning, Harvey seemed to settle down until the wheels completely came off in the fifth as the Brewers got to him for five straight hits -- including a Christian Yelich homer -- to chase him from the game. Fortunately for Harvey's final line, Sal Romano was able to escape the bases-loaded, no-out jam he inherited without allowing a run to score. Despite that bit of good luck, Harvey will still carry a 4.97 ERA into his next outing Monday in Pittsburgh.

Harvey allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out six over 5.1 innings as he didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey gave up just one run in the sixth inning before exiting with the ballgame tied 1-1. He tossed 49 of 83 pitches for strikes. The 29-year-old has looked sharp throughout his previous three outings, as he's tossed 18.2 frames and recorded 18 punchouts while allowing just three runs. Harvey will look to keep it rolling his next turn through the rotation, which is slated for Thursday against Milwaukee.

Harvey was not traded and remains the Reds' scheduled starter for Friday's game against the Cubs, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers put in a claim on Harvey but the two sides did not work out a trade within the allotted time frame. Harvey has been close to a league-average starter since joining Cincinnati (96 ERA+), but he's had five- and eight-run blowups recently and makes for a risky option against the first-place Cubs.
