Marco Scutaro left Monday's game against the Indians in the bottom of the fourth inning with dizziness. Sanchez had an RBI single in his only at-bat before Mike Aviles pinch-hit for him in the bottom of the fourth. We'll likely learn more about his status following the game.

Marco Scutaro was scratched from Wednesday's lineup due to illness. He might have the same thing Josh Beckett has, which could cause him to miss a few games if that's the case. Drew Sutton is drawing the start at shortstop with Scutaro out.

Marco Scutaro went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in Boston's 14-5 victory over the Padres on Monday. His lone RBI came after getting hit with the bases loaded in the seventh inning, in what turned out to be the first of many insurance runs scored by the Red Sox that inning. Since returning from the disabled list on June 7th, Scutaro is 16-for-44 (.364), lifting his average from .235 to .286. The 35-year-old shortstop is still getting it done at the plate, and as long as he's hitting in one of the majors' highest powered lineups, he'll continue to receive his share of run-producing opportunities.
