Weaver (4-3) earned the win in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Giants before leaving the game with a forearm injury.
EDGE Analysis
Weaver, who is the midst of a breakout season, told Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic that something he felt was "a little abnormal" after throwing a changeup in the sixth inning and decided to leave the game with Arizona up by five runs. He and the Diamondbacks are downplaying the injury with manager Torey Lovullo making no assurances an MRI is even needed. Still, the team will investigate the injury and more details should follow. The Diamondbacks do not have the luxury of getting by with four starters for a stretch and will need to make a decision before Weaver's next scheduled start Friday at home against the Mets.

Weaver left Sunday's game against San Francisco due to right forearm tightness, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Weaver is likely headed for further testing to determine whether he'll require a trip to the 10-day injured list. If he's forced to miss time, Zack Godley, who was recently shifted from the starting rotation to the bullpen, could be a candidate to fill in.

Weaver (3-3) allowed two runs on four hits while striking out seven over six innings in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Weaver kept the Padres' bats quiet most of the night before Greg Garcia's two-out single was followed by Fanmil Reyes' two-run home run in the sixth inning. That was all the damage he allowed, but it was enough for his third loss of the season. The silver lining is that he lowered his ERA to 3.14 and continues to average more than one strikeout per inning (62 Ks, 57.1 IP). Weaver will make his second start of the week Saturday on the road against San Francisco.

Weaver (3-2) allowed three runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and two walks across six innings while taking a loss against the Pirates on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old didn't pitch poorly, but his counterpart, Joe Musgrove, was absolutely on point. Weaver has been very reliable this season, as this was his fourth straight quality start and fifth of the season. He is 3-2 with a 3.16 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 55 strikeouts in 51.1 innings this year. Weaver will start next at San Diego on Monday.

Weaver threw seven innings in a no-decision against the Braves on Thursday, giving up one earned run on three hits in a 3-2 extra-inning win for the Diamondbacks. He struck out six and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
Weaver was unfortunate not to get the victory, as he was able to three-hit the Diamondbacks over his seven frames before exiting after 104 pitches. He's off to a great start to the season, as this outing gives him a 2.98 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP over 45.1 innings. He'll take on the Pirates at home in his next start on Tuesday.

Weaver (3-1) fired seven innings Saturday, yielding one run on three hits and a walk while striking out eight and earning the win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Weaver retired the first nine batters to start the contest before allowing back-to-back doubles to Charlie Blackmon and Trevor Story in the fourth frame. Still, that was the only run he allowed on the night in what seemed like his best outing this season. In 38.1 innings, the first-year Diamondback owns a stellar 44:8 K:BB alongside a 3.29 ERA. Weaver will take on the Braves at home next Thursday.

Weaver yielded three runs on six hits and a walk across 4.1 innings in Sunday's extra-inning loss against the Cubs. He struck out five and allowed two homers in the no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
Weaver gave up long balls to Kris Bryant and Willson Contreras, eventually leaving with a 3-0 deficit. It was a disappointing ending to a very strong April for the 25-year-old. Prior to Sunday's outing, he posted a 2.38 ERA and 28:4 K:BB in 22.2 innings this month. He'll look to get back in the win column in Colorado on Saturday.

Weaver (1-1) allowed four hits and one walk while striking out nine across five shutout innings to earn the win Thursday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Weaver was dominant during his Thursday afternoon start, allowing only baserunner to reach scoring position in his five innings of work. Though it was a relatively short outing, he made the most of his work by whiffing nine batters on the strength of 17 called strikes and 16 swinging strikes. After a rocky season-debut, Weaver has settled in across his last three outings to allow five earned runs across 16.1 frames while striking out 21 and walking three.
