Jackson was designated for assignment Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson had his contract selected by the Braves a week into the regular season but will now be cast off the 40-man roster following his ugly performance in which he allowed two runs while only recording one out during Saturday's game against the Cubs. Lucas Sims was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett in his place.

Jackson's contract was selected by the Braves on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Braves are summoning a fresh arm for the bullpen and designating Chris Stewart for assignment in order to clear a 40-man roster spot. Jackson can be electric at times, but his below-average command will limit him to low-leverage situations for now. He has a career 5.64 ERA in 68.2 MLB innings.

The Braves reassigned Jackson to their minor-league camp Tuesday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson, who was in camp as a non-roster invitee, turned in a 4.62 ERA and 5.9 K/9 over 50.2 innings out of the Atlanta bullpen in 2017. The right-hander did little this spring to convince the Braves he was worth adding back to the 40-man roster, surrendering five runs in 3.1 innings during Grapefruit League action before being reassigned. Look for him to work as long reliever or spot starter for Triple-A Gwinnett for most of the upcoming campaign.

Jackson has been invited to Atlanta's spring training.
EDGE Analysis
After being designated for assignment in December, Jackson will attend spring training as a non-roster invitee. The 26-year-old right hander accrued an ERA of 5.50 across 50.2 innings for the Braves in 2017, and has struggled in the big leagues throughout his career -- he owns a career ERA of 5.64. Unless Jackson has a stellar spring training, he's likely a long shot to make the major league team for Opening Day.

Jackson was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was designated for assignment by the Braves on Dec. 20, and passed through waivers unclaimed to remain with the organization. During the 2017 season, Jackson accumulated a 4.62 ERA and 33:19 K:BB in 50.2 innings.

Jackson was designated for assignment by the Braves on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was dropped from the 40-man roster in order to make room for the recently-acquired Preston Tucker in a deal with the Astros. During the 2017 season, Jackson appeared in 43 games out of the bullpen for Atlanta, posting a 4.62 ERA and 1.46 WHIP over 50.2 innings. Although he provided another middle-relief arm for the Braves this past year, Jackson wasn't able to make hitters miss, accumulating just 33 strikeouts, which has been indicative of his professional career up to this point.

Jackson (shoulder) was activated from the 10-day DL on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson will return to the bullpen after a two-week stay on the disabled list due to a shoulder strain. The 26-year-old will slide back into the bullpen, where he's posted a 4.65 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 40.2 innings this season.

Jackson (shoulder) will report Wednesday to Triple-A Gwinnett to begin a rehab assignment, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson has been sidelined for just over the minimum 10 days with the shoulder strain, so he may only need one tune-up appearance in the minors before the Braves likely activate him Sept. 1 when rosters expand. The right-hander, who carries a 4.65 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over 40.2 innings with the big club this season, will likely work in middle relief once he rejoins the Braves.

Jackson (shoulder) is expected to come off the disabled list Sept. 1, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
By waiting to activate Jackson until Sept. 1, the Braves will be able to avoid having to make a corresponding roster move. The 25-year-old righty has struggled to shut down batters this season, as he's logged a disappointing 28:15 K:BB over 40.2 innings this season.

Jackson was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right shoulder strain.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson struggled over his previous two outings -- allowing six runs on six hits and three walks over two innings -- and this could help explain why. The severity of the injury isn't known at this point, but he'll be eligible to return Aug. 29 should he be ready. In the meantime, Matt Wisler was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding roster move to take his place on the roster and in the bullpen.
