Jackson didn't allow a baserunner while striking out two to earn the save Tuesday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson sat the Cubs down in order, highlighted by consecutive swinging strikeouts to end the game. It was 12th save of the season and his second consecutive successful conversion. However, he has still allowed seven runs (four earned) to cross the plate in the month of June. He remains the Braves' primary closer, but will have to continue to improve his performance to fend off the likes of Anthony Swarzak and A.J. Minter.

Jackson picked up his 11th save of the season Sunday against the Nationals, allowing one run on two hits and one walk in one inning.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson entered Sunday's game in the 10th inning with a two-run lead and immediately ran into trouble, allowing a leadoff walk and a single to the first two batters he faced. Trea Turner followed with a run-scoring fielder's choice and moved to second on an Adam Eaton single, but Jackson settled in and retired the next two batters to secure the 4-3 win. Jackson is now 11-for-17 on save chances this season and owns a 3.08 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 52:12 K:BB through 38 innings.

Jackson (3-2) gave up two unearned runs on two hits in the ninth inning Saturday to blow his sixth save of the season and get saddled with the loss as Atlanta fell 6-5 to the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The error that made the runs unearned was his own -- after allowing a leadoff single to Scott Kingery, Jackson threw wide of first base on Sean Rodriguez's sacrifice bunt -- so it's hard to call the blown save undeserved. The right-hander has now botched four of his last eight save opportunities, and with A.J. Minter back and Anthony Swarzak pitching well since his acquisition, Jackson's leash as closer could be very short.

Jackson allowed an unearned run on two hits during the ninth inning but still recorded his 10th save in a 6-5 victory against the Pirates on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Braves closer recorded the first two outs of the frame via the ground ball, one of which was produced on a very nice bare-handed play from Dansby Swason. Jackson gave up a double and infield single to the next two batters, but because the first baserunner advanced to third base on a passed ball before the single, the run was unearned. Still, Jackson has given up runs in four of his last five outings. He is 3-1 with a 3.18 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 49 strikeouts in 34 innings. Jackson is also 10-for-15 in save chances.

Jackson gave up a run on two hits while striking out three in an inning of relief to blow his fifth save of the season in Sunday's extra-innings win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander came into the game in the 10th inning after Atlanta had nudged ahead in the top of the frame on a bases-loaded walk, but a Harold Ramirez single and Martin Prado double with one out knotted the score back up. Jackson has now blown half of his last six save chances, posting a 5.59 ERA over his last 9.2 innings despite a seemingly dominant 20:2 K:BB. A.J. Minter has a 2.53 ERA and 15:2 K:BB in 10.2 innings for Triple-A Gwinnett, but as yet Atlanta doesn't seem to be thinking about making a change at closer.

Jackson posted a four-out save, striking out the side in the ninth to preserve an 1-0 victory against the Marlins on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander came on with a runner at second and two outs in the eighth, and while he gave up a walk, he worked out of that jam. Jackson then struck out the side with a single mixed in during the ninth. Since his last blown save on May 21, Jackson has been better, yielding just one run in seven frames. Overall, he is 9-for-13 in save chances with a 2.90 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 45 strikeouts in 31 innings this season.

Jackson allowed one run on a homer during a non-save situation in the ninth inning against the Tigers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Owners didn't have much to gain from Jackson entering with a four-run lead in the ninth, and making matters worse, he allowed a run. That moved his ERA back up to 3.03. The run didn't really hurt his other numbers, but Jackson probably needs to improve slightly to remain in the Braves' closer role for the long haul. He is 8-for-12 in save chances with a 1.18 WHIP and 42 strikeouts in 29.2 innings this year.

Jackson earned the save Saturday against the Tigers by allowing one hit over 1.2 innings and recording all five outs via strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson last appeared in a game Sunday at St. Louis but showed no signs of rust as he needed only 22 pitches. The 27-year-old has 10 strikeouts and zero walks across his last three appearances, covering 4.2 innings. Jackson has a 2.83 ERA and 1.19 WHIP overall and is 8-for-12 in save opportunities.

Jackson picked up the save against the Cardinals on Sunday, tossing a scoreless 10th inning and allowing one hit while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson rewarded the Braves for sticking with him despite blowing his previous two save opportunities, giving up only a two-out single and striking out Kolten Wong to wrap up the victory. His grasp on the closer role is tenuous -- he has blown four of his seven save opportunities -- but his ability to strike batters out (36 Ks in 27 innings) makes him a viable late-innings option.

Jackson (2-1) took the loss Tuesday, giving up three runs on four hits in two-thirds of an inning to blow his fourth save of the season as Atlanta fell 4-3 to the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Entering the game in the bottom of the ninth, Jackson allowed four singles and a steady parade of baserunners to take second base afterwards on two stolen bases and a fielder's indifference call before the floodgates really opened. The right-hander has blown back-to-back save chances and three of his last seven, which could force Atlanta to consider other closing options.
