He is hitting .529 (9-for-17) during his current five-game hitting streak, and appears ready to help spearhead the Mets offense in the postseason.

Duda appears to be hitting his stride at the plate at just the right time as the Mets ready for the first postseason appearance since 2006.

On Friday, he showed that he can still bop homers despite recovering from a back injury. As the season winds to a close, Duda should stay true to form - a batting-average liability who can pile on the walks and the homers.

He slumped for a while there after returning from the DL, but Duda's shown signs over the last two days, smacking three doubles in five at-bats and drawing three walks. It looks like he could again be a safe fantasy play for power and OBP productivity when the Mets face right-handed pitching over the season's final week or so.
