Webb (8-9) allowed three runs on six hits and struck out four without walking a batter over 7.1 innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Webb turned in a quality start in response to his 1.1-inning disaster start versus the Nationals last weekend. The Giants' offense remained cold Friday, limited to just two runs on six hits and a walk, leaving Webb with a tough-luck loss. The right-hander posted four quality starts over five outings in July and ends the month with a 3.49 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 140:24 K:BB through 141.2 innings over 22 starts this season. Webb is projected for a home start versus the Diamondbacks next week.

Webb (8-8) took the loss against Washington on Saturday, allowing six runs on five hits and one walk while striking out two batters over 1.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Webb's outing began well, as he retired the side in order in the first frame. Things unraveled for him in the second, however, as six of the seven batters he faced reach base, culminated by a CJ Abrams two-run homer that was followed by Webb getting the hook. The right-hander tossed 41 pitches and got just one out in the second inning, and his departure after 1.1 frames marked the shortest outing of his career. Webb had been pitching well coming into the contest -- he compiled a 1.59 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 28:2 K:BB over 22.2 innings covering his past three starts -- so Saturday's disaster should be viewed as an aberration rather than an expectation.

Webb allowed two runs on four hits and struck out seven without walking a batter over seven innings in a no-decision in Monday's game versus the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The game was suspended after seven innings and completed on Tuesday. Webb has earned quality starts in six of his last seven outings, posting a 3.14 ERA and 49:6 K:BB in that span. He's at a 3.11 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 134:23 K:BB through 133 innings across 20 starts this season. The right-hander leads the majors in innings pitched and should continue to function as the Giants' ace. He's lined up for a road start versus the Nationals over the weekend.

Webb will not be among the Giants' starter during their first series of the second half in Pittsburgh, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Webb leads all of baseball in innings pitched, so the team will give him a little extra rest around the All-Star break. Presumably, he'll make his second-half debut early next week in Cincinnati. Ross Stripling and Alex Cobb will get two of the starts this weekend versus the Pirates, with the Giants' third starter not yet determined.

Webb (8-7) allowed seven hits over nine shutout frames Sunday, striking out 10 and earning a win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was outstanding Sunday, scattering seven hits (five singles) during the first career complete game. He ended the terrific outing with a bang by striking out the side in the ninth inning. Webb recorded just 30 strikeouts in 38.1 innings during June but he's posted a 21:2 K:BB over his last two starts. Over his last 15 starts he's registered a 2.73 ERA. The 26-year-old enters the All-Star break with a 3.14 ERA and a 127:23 K:BB through 126 frames on the year.

Webb allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out 11 over 6.2 innings, taking a no-decision in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Webb struggled to a 4.70 ERA over 38.1 innings in June, so this was a big improvement over his previous month despite the lack of a result. The solid outing trimmed his ERA to 3.38 with a 1.14 WHIP and 117:23 K:BB over 117 innings through 18 starts this season. The Giants' ace is tentatively projected for one more start before the All-Star break, which would come during this weekend's series at home versus the Rockies.

Webb (7-7) took the loss Wednesday, coughing up five runs on eight hits over five innings as the Giants fell 6-1 to the Blue Jays. He struck out five without walking a batter.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander saw his three-start win streak snapped abruptly as Toronto jumped on him for five runs in the first inning. Webb will look to put an uneven June behind him -- despite the win streak he posted a 4.70 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB in 38.1 innings over six outings on the month. He's next set to take the mound early next week at home against the Mariners.

Webb (7-6) earned the win Friday, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings against the Diamondbacks. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Webb now has an impressive 101:21 strikeout-to-walk ratio as he continues his solid campaign. The right-hander hasn't allowed more than four runs in a start this year, proving to be a reliable option despite his six losses. His next appearance is tentatively slated to be against the Blue Jays on Thursday.

Webb (6-6) allowed two runs on eight hits and two walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out five and earning a win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Webb tossed three scoreless frames before the Dodgers plated a run in each of the fourth and fifth innings. It was the first time he allowed fewer than three runs since May 27, and he dropped his season ERA to 3.11. After starting the year 0-4, Webb is 6-2 with a 2.53 ERA over his last 11 starts. He'll carry a 96:19 K:BB into his next start, which is projected to be at home against the Diamondbacks.

Webb (5-6) allowed three runs on seven hits over seven innings Monday, striking out six and earning a win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Webb worked through four shutout frames before coughing up a home run in the fifth and sixth innings. After allowing two or fewer earned runs in seven straight starts, he's given up at least three in his last three outings. His ERA has jumped from 2.75 to 3.15 during that stretch. Webb has recorded a 91:17 K:BB across an MLB-leading 91.1 innings this season. He's lined up for a road matchup with the Dodgers this weekend.
