Webb (2-0) earned the win against the Yankees on Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and four walks with five strikeouts over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Webb yielded three runs over the first two innings but battled to hold the Yankees scoreless over his final three frames. He generated 12 whiffs on 97 pitches but also found the strike zone on just 57 of them, tallying a season-high four walks. On the year, the 28-year-old has posted a strong 2.63 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB across 24 innings. He's slated for a road matchup with the Angels next weekend.

Webb settled for a no-decision Monday against Cincinnati, allowing four hits and striking out 10 batters over seven scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Webb and Hunter Greene engaged in a pitchers' duel for most of the contest, as the game was scoreless until the Reds scored twice in the eighth inning. That was one frame after Webb departed following a masterful performance during which he racked up 10 punchouts and held Cincinnati to four baserunners (all on singles). Three of those singles came in the first two innings, and Webb finished his outing by retiring 16 of the final 17 batters he faced. The right-hander has begun the campaign in fine form, allowing just four runs while posting a 21:3 K:BB over 19 frames through three starts. He's tentatively slated for a tough matchup on the road against the Yankees his next time on the mound.

Webb (1-0) picked up the win after giving up one run on five hits and no walks in seven innings Tuesday against Houston. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Webb faced the minimum number of batters through three innings Tuesday, but Jose Altuve took him deep to lead off the fourth frame. It was an otherwise excellent outing on the road by Webb, who tossed 100 pitches and induced three double plays to keep Houston's bats in check. On tap for the star right-hander is a matchup at home against the Reds, which tentatively lines up for early next week.

Webb didn't factor into the decision in Thursday's win over the Reds, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Webb showed signs of rust in his season debut -- the right-hander had to contend with traffic throughout the start, eventually conceding three runs on a pair of Jeimer Candelario base hits. The 28-year-old Webb will look for better results in his next outing, currently lined up for next week against Seattle. Webb went 13-10 with a 3.47 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 172 strikeouts at the front of San Francisco's rotation last season.

Webb recorded his second win of the spring by surrendering two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five over 4.2 innings during Monday's Cactus League victory over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Webb navigated around trouble in the early going, giving up an RBI double in the second inning and a two-run homer in the third, but he still managed to come away with the win and had his swing and miss stuff working. Skipper Bob Melvin announced in February that Webb would serve as the club's Opening Day starter, so now it's just a matter of continuing to ramp up in preparation for the start of the 2025 regular season.

Giants manager Bob Melvin announced Friday that Webb will start Opening Day against the Reds on March 27, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has firmly established himself as San Francisco's ace, so it's no surprise he'll be taking the ball in the season opener. It won't be the most favorable matchup at hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park, however. Webb made 33 starts in each of the past two seasons and posted a 3.47 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 172:50 K:BB across 204.2 innings during 2024.

Webb (13-10) got the win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday after throwing six shutout innings while allowing four hits and a walk. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Webb was staked a seven-run lead by the third inning and that lead grew to 10 by the fifth. Still, he never let up and tossed his seventh shutout of at least six innings this season. Tuesday was likely Webb's final start of the season. He'll finish as one of a handful of pitchers to surpass 200 innings this season and currently sits 10th in the National League with a 3.47 ERA. As a whole, Webb owns a 3.47 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 172:50 K:BB in 204.2 innings.

Webb didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Orioles, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Webb got off to a strong start against Baltimore, allowing just two baserunners through his first three scoreless innings. However, the right-hander allowed the first three batters to reach in the fourth, ultimately allowing three runs in the frame. While Webb's eight strikeouts matched a season high, he's now allowed three or more runs in each of his last five outings while posting a 6.57 ERA in that span. Webb's ERA now sits at 3.58 on the season with a 1.24 WHIP and 169:49 K:BB. He'll likely make one more start this season, tentatively lined up for early next week in Arizona.

Webb (12-10) allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over four innings to take the loss Friday versus the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Webb failed to complete five innings for the first time since May 5. With the Giants essentially out of playoff contention, it appears manager Bob Melvin won't ask for too much of Webb down the stretch, especially since the ace has hit a rough patch with 17 runs allowed (16 earned) on 29 hits and six walks over his last 21 innings. The right-hander is now at a 3.53 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 161:47 K:BB through a major-league-leading 193.2 innings over 31 starts. Webb's next start is set to come on the road, but it's unclear if it'll be in Baltimore or Kansas City, as the Giants could get Robbie Ray (hamstring) back some time next week.

Webb (12-9) picked up the win over the Padres on Saturday, allowing three runs on 10 hits and two walks over six innings while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
Webb got knocked around early, allowing four consecutive batters to reach to open the contest, which would lead to two early runs coming across for San Diego. The right-hander gave up 10 hits on the night, which matched his season high, while allowing the leadoff man to reach in four of his six innings on the mound. However, he still managed to record his fourth quality start in his last six outings in addition to securing his 12th win of the campaign. Webb has now won five of his last six decisions (spanning eight starts), though he's also failed to record more than four strikeouts in three straight.
