Morrison's move to the bench will open up a spot in the lineup for Trevor Plouffe, who will hit fifth.

The slugging first baseman has also driven in nine of his 11 runs for the month over that span, and he's now just two homers away from equaling the career-high 23 it took him 123 games to compile in 2011 while with the Marlins.

Morrison's 400-foot shot in the eighth brought the Rays within a run in a comeback attempt that ultimately fell short. The veteran infielder has round trippers in back-to-back games and four overall in the last 10 contests while also leading the team i both homers (19) and RBI (43).

The 29-year-old is now just one homer away from matching his best total in that category over the last six seasons, and seven away from equaling the career-high 23 he hit in Miami back in 2011.

With that, he's now exceeded last year's total of 14 homers -- in 54 fewer games. Yes, Morrison is in the midst of a breakout campaign, and with his BABIP at just .248, there's hope that he'll be able to improve upon his current .249 batting average. Even if he doesn't, those power stats play across the fantasy universe.

The 29-year-old now has nine homers in May and 14 overall on the season, leading to career highs in slugging (.557) and OPS (.907) at the moment.
