Turner is out of Saturday's lineup against the Rockies, the Los Angeles Times' Andy McCullough reports.
EDGE Analysis
Howie Kendrick will get the start at third base Saturday, hitting fifth. Turner has a hit in just two of his last five games, and has five strikeouts over his last three contests, so he will get a bench seat to start Saturday's game.

Turner is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Braves, according to Andy McCullough of the LA Times.
EDGE Analysis
Turner tallied two hits in Wednesday's game but just three hits in the previous seven games, so manager Dave Roberts decided to give him the day off Thursday. Charlie Culbertson will fill in at third base in Turner's place.

Turner (hand) is back in the lineup Friday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
He was out of the lineup Thursday due to swelling in his left hand, the result of being hit by a pitch Wednesday night. However, Turner was able to pinch hit Thursday and is back in the lineup Friday, manning third and batting cleanup against lefty Madison Bumgarner. The 31-year-old Turner is 8-for-36 (.222 average) with two homers and seven strikeouts in his career against Bumgarner.

Turner (undisclosed) came on to pinch hit Thursday and collected an RBI single in his lone at-bat.
EDGE Analysis
Turner was poised to get the night off Thursday after being hit by two pitches in his previous game, but he was able to push through any lingering soreness to put the Dodgers on the board in the seventh inning. He eventually came around to score to give the Dodgers a one-run lead that they would not relinquish. Given that Turner came back ahead of schedule, he figures to be back at his usual spot at third base for Friday's game against the Giants.

Manager Dave Roberts said that he expects Turner (undisclosed) to return to the lineup Friday, Joey Kaufman of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Turner was given the night off Thursday after being hit by two pitches in Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks. He was sent in for X-rays on his hand, but they came back negative, leaving open the possibility of him drawing back into the order for Friday's series opener with the Giants. Howie Kendrick is taking over at third base Thursday, but Enrique Hernandez would be another candidate to fill in if Turner is unable to go Friday.

Turner is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Howie Kendrick will take Turner's spot at third base Thursday after Turner was hit by a pitch twice in Wednesday's contest. Most concerning was a pitch Turner took off the hand, but Joey Kaufman of the Orange County Register reports that X-rays on his hand came back negative. Turner could be back in action as soon as Friday, but if he's still out of the lineup at that point, Kendrick or Enrique Hernandez could serve as replacements at third base.

Turner is out of Thursday's lineup against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
This is just a standard day off for Turner, who has four hits in his first three games, including two doubles. Enrique Hernandez will get the start at third base and hit seventh against righty Jake Peavy.

Turner rapped out two doubles and scored two runs in Monday's 15-0 thrashing of the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
It seems clear by now that we can count on Turner to hit for average and score runs, but what's questionable is whether he can maintain last season's power surge -- if he'd had 600 at-bats, he had the on-pace numbers for 25 homers. Hitting out of the third spot in the order, as he did here in the opener, he'll at least be in the middle of whatever the Dodgers can do on offense -- which might be quite a lot.

Turner left Tuesday's game early as a precaution after being spiked, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The calf that was struck is reportedly fine, so the fact that he left the game afterward is of little concern. Turner should be fine to resume his usual duties as the starting third baseman in the coming days.

Turner (knee) went 1-for-1 with a double, a walk, two runs and a RBI in Monday's game against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
He said after Monday's game that as long as he feels good Tuesday, the plan is to play in games Wednesday and Friday of this week. His spring debut couldn't have gone any better, and it sounds like he is on track to be ready for Opening Day. We will update his status if there is a change in his availability later this week.
