Uribe is out of the lineup Friday against the Mets.
Uribe will take a seven-game hitting streak with him to the bench, and will cede Friday's start at third base to Chris Johnson. However, he should continue to serve as the everyday third baseman moving forward.

Uribe is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets.
Chris Johnson will take over at third base as Uribe sits after starting two straight and seven of the last eight. The 36-year-old Uribe is 13-for-52 (.250 average) with three doubles and two homers in 15 games with Atlanta, giving him a .248/.308/.353 combined slash line for the season.

Uribe is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Padres.
Uribe has started the last five games at third base, but the veteran will get the day off Wednesday as the Braves go with Chris Johnson. Johnson will bat fifth against Padres starter Tyson Ross.

Uribe is out of the lineup Wednesday.
Uribe seems to have a pretty firm hold on the bulk of the playing time at third base, and has six hits and five RBI in his last four games. On Wednesday, however, Chris Johnson will get the start at third and hit fifth.

Uribe homered for the second straight game on Sunday against the Giants, finishing 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI.
After showing little power and hitting just one home run in 41 appearances for the Dodgers this season, the veteran has hit two in his last two games and is batting .333 with two home runs, four RBI, four runs scored and even a stolen base in four starts for Atlanta. Uribe's playing time could fluctuate with Chris Johnson in the picture and he's unlikely to keep up the home run production, so he carries little fantasy value at the moment.

Uribe busted out with a 3-for-4 effort Saturday in San Francisco, notching a double, a homer, a walk, a steal, two RBI and two runs.
A massive game for Uribe, whose Braves career had been off to a slow 1-for-8 start. The homer and steal were both his second of the year, although we wouldn't bet on the 36-year-old swiping too many more bags. He should be good for a homer here and there, but with Chris Johnson back in the fold, Uribe's playing time may be inconsistent.

Uribe is not in the lineup Friday against the Giants.
Uribe started the final two games of the Dodgers series, going 1-for-7 with a walk and two strikeouts against his former team. He will give way to Chris Johnson at third base Friday against right-hander Tim Hudson, and the two will likely continue splitting time in the days and weeks ahead.

Uribe will start at third base and fifth against the Dodgers on Wednesday in his Braves debut, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.
This should be interesting. Uribe will step in against his former team in his first game with Atlanta after being traded in a six-player deal Tuesday night. The fact that he is starting over Chris Johnson in Johnson's first game back on the active roster could suggest Uribe has a slight leg up in manager Fredi Gonzalez's eyes, though the two players will likely split time at third base moving forward.

Uribe was traded to the Braves on Tuesday night as part of a six-player trade, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.
The deal had been agreed to earlier in the morning, but was temporarily put on ice after
Alberto Callaspo -- the other principal involved in what Rosenthal is reporting as a six-player swap -- invoked his no-trade clause and voided the deal. However, with Callaspo since coming around to the idea of joining the Dodgers, the talks were quickly reestablished and the trade has since been formally submitted to the commissioner. Uribe became expendable for the Dodgers with the emergence of Justin Turner and Alex Guerrero this season, but he won't necessarily have much easier of a path to at-bats in Atlanta with Chris Johnson (hand) due to return from the disabled list within the next few days. He at least won't have to go far to meet up with his new team, as the Dodgers are hosting Atlanta on Tuesday night.

Uribe won't be traded to Atlanta, at least for right how, as Alberto Callaspo has rejected the deal, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.
No word on why Callaspo would want to stay with an organization that doesn't want him, but perhaps he's angling for his release. Uribe is an afterthought in LA given the plethora of 3B options at their disposal, but he'll have to be traded to see significant at-bats any time soon.
