At only 19 years old, Lowe will be given plenty of time to adjust to life in the minors as Tampa Bay stays patient with him. That's a good sign for the third baseman, as he continues to struggle at the plate. The 2016 first-round pick is batting .235/.291/.350, all of which would be lower than the marks he put up last season with both the GCL Rays and rookie-level Princeton.

Lowe, the Rays' top pick in 2016, has been promoted to rookie-level Princeton after a solid stint with the GCL Rays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 18-year-old wrapped up his stint in the Gulf Coast League with a pair of multi-hit efforts in his last three games. Lowe slashed .258/.386/.409 overall in his GCL stint, with six doubles, a triple, two homers and 15 RBI over 93 at-bats.
