Lowe is hitting .290/.362/.518 with nine homers, 12 steals, 33 RBI and 32 runs for Triple-A Durham.
EDGE Analysis
It's hard to find many flaws in what Lowe's done this season, as the 23-year-old has improved both his power production and his base-stealing efficiency -- he hasn't been caught a single time. Though he may get lost a bit among all the Rays' big-name prospects, Lowe has an exciting skill set for fantasy purposes. Even better, with only the light-hitting Kevin Kiermaier standing in his way, it seems like only a matter of time before Lowe is patrolling center field in Tampa.

The Rays optioned Lowe to their minor-league camp Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 2016 first-round pick will likely open the 2021 campaign at Triple-A Durham after posting a .783 OPS while stealing 30 bases in 121 games with Double-A Montgomery in his last minor-league season in 2019. The 23-year-old boasts an intriguing combination of speed and power from the left side of the plate, and his ability to play a solid center field could make him a candidate to fill a full-time role for the Rays this season if the team decides to trade away veteran Kevin Kiermaier at some point.

Lowe's contract was purchased by the Rays on Friday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lowe, the younger brother of Nate Lowe, is one of the best center field prospects in the minors and is essentially big-league ready after an impressive Arizona Fall League in 2019 and a strong performance this past summer at the alternate training site. The one concern is that the platoon-happy rays may limit his exposure to left-handed pitchers, but he brings a very appealing power/speed combo to the table.

Lowe (shoulder) has officially made the Rays' 60-man player pool that will report to summer camp, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lowe was expected to be a strong candidate to make the 60-man summer camp roster, and he's now officially confirmed to be in that group of players. The 22-year-old is most likely to eventually be included in the reserve pool of up to 30 players that will continue to train at a separate location once the regular season begins.

Lowe (shoulder) is expected to be a part of Tampa Bay's 60-man roster pool, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old spent 2019 at Double-A Montgomery and seems unlikely to jump straight to the majors after offseason shoulder surgery, but as one of the organization's top prospects it's not a surprise to see he'll likely make the 60-man group for developmental purposes. Lowe had a .252/.341/.442 slash line with 18 home runs, 62 RBI and 30 stolen bases for Montgomery last year.

Lowe underwent right shoulder surgery in November and is in the process of returning to baseball activities, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The surgery was to repair right shoulder debridement. Lowe has already undergone a throwing progression, has yet to start hitting, and is expected to return around late May. The 22-year-old spent the 2019 season with Double-A Montgomery, hitting .252/.341/.442 with 18 home runs, 70 runs scored and 62 RBI in 519 plate appearances.

Lowe went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs and a walk Sunday in Double-A Montgomery's 7-6 loss to Mississippi.
EDGE Analysis
The 21-year-old went yard twice in a game for the first time in his minor-league career, with both of his long balls coming off Braves prospect Joey Wentz. Lowe owns a .321/.418/.661 slash line through his first 15 games in the Southern League and could get the opportunity to join brother Nate at Triple-A Durham in the second half of the campaign.

Lowe has three home runs and 11 stolen bases this season with Low-A Bowling Green.
EDGE Analysis
At only 19 years old, Lowe will be given plenty of time to adjust to life in the minors as Tampa Bay stays patient with him. That's a good sign for the third baseman, as he continues to struggle at the plate. The 2016 first-round pick is batting .235/.291/.350, all of which would be lower than the marks he put up last season with both the GCL Rays and rookie-level Princeton.

Lowe, the Rays' top pick in 2016, has been promoted to rookie-level Princeton after a solid stint with the GCL Rays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 18-year-old wrapped up his stint in the Gulf Coast League with a pair of multi-hit efforts in his last three games. Lowe slashed .258/.386/.409 overall in his GCL stint, with six doubles, a triple, two homers and 15 RBI over 93 at-bats.
