Hamilton (shoulder) went 1-for-3 with a single in Sunday's rehab game for Triple-A Round Rock, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Making his first appearance of what could be a lengthy rehab assignment, Hamilton took all of his at-bats against Barry Zito. Expect to see Hamilton with the Rangers at some point before the end of May, as there's a 20-day limit on rehab assignments for batters.

Hamilton (shoulder) will begin his rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday. Hamilton has missed the first month of the 2015 season because of the shoulder issue, but finally appears to be nearing a return with the club. He'll likely require some time in the minors as he's yet to see action on a consistent basis, but a return at some point in May isn't out of the question.

Hamilton (shoulder) could begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock this weekend, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Hamilton is currently at the Rangers' extended spring training facility, and he said his injury only bothers him when he sneezes, according to Jeff Wilson of the Star-Telegram. While he now seems to be on track to join the Rangers at some point in May, Hamilton could have a lengthy rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock. He'll play in another extended spring training game Friday, and the Rangers will likely then make a decision on the rehab assignment.

Hamilton (shoulder) played five innings in left field in an extended spring training game Monday, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Hamilton went 0-for-4 with a walk at the dish, but most importantly, he reported no issues with his surgically-repaired right shoulder. Next up for Hamilton will be live batting practice Thursday, likely followed by more extended spring action. There is no set date for him to begin a minor league rehab assignment.

Hamilton (shoulder) will make his extended spring training debut Monday, Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com reports. Hamilton is expected to receive three or four at-bats in the game Monday, but still remains some time from rejoining the club. However, Monday marks a step forward in his rehab, and a mid-to-late May return isn't out of the question at this point.

Hamilton (shoulder) was traded to the Rangers on Monday in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations, Rangers VP of Comm. John Blake reports. It's not clear which players or how much money will be sent to the Angels in this trade, but Hamilton is officially a Ranger again. Hamilton still needs to complete his recovery from shoulder surgery before he takes the field for Texas, but that could happen sometime next month, or early the following month.

The Angels are expected to finalize a trade of Hamilton (shoulder) to the Rangers on Sunday, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports. Rumors of a deal first gained traction Friday, with the biggest question centering around how much of the $80.2 million remaining on Hamilton's contract the Rangers would be forced to take on. It seems as though the two sides have closed in on a happy medium on the financials, and may now just be awaiting approval on the deal from the Players Association. Assuming the trade is consummated, Hamilton likely wouldn't see any at-bats with the Rangers until late May or early June, as he's still recovering from the right shoulder surgery he underwent in February.

The Angels agreed to a deal that will send Hamilton to the Rangers, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports. Hamilton will head to Texas with the Angels expected to pay most of his salary. The outfielder has had problems staying healthy, and hasn't been productive when he is. He's currently on the shelf with a shoulder issue, but could return at some point in May or June.

The Angels are reportedly working on a deal that would send Josh Hamilton (shoulder) to the Rangers, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports. The Angels would not confirm that any such deal was in the works, but it could make sense, as the team has not confirmed that the 33-year-old, whose career took an unexpected turn when he admitted to using drugs of abuse in March, would play another game in an Angels' uniform. The move back to Texas could be a good fit for Hamilton, as he saw the best years of his career as a member of the Rangers, including winning the AL MVP in 2010, when he tallied a 1.044 OPS with 32 homers and 100 RBI. The Angels will likely have to pay a significant portion of the $90 million he is owed in the last three years of the deal he signed in December of 2012 for an agreement to take place. He continues to rehab his shoulder, and could be ready to take the field early in June.

Hamilton (shoulder) and the Angels have likely crossed a point of no return in their relationship, according to SI's Michael McCann. The Angels are displeased with Hamilton's self-reported offseason relapse, and it has long been rumored that the team will seek to nullify his contract. While such an effort would likely be unsuccessful, the team has been shockingly forward about its desire to move on from the 33-year-old outfielder. If the Angels can't void the contract, they'll likely try to figure out a trade or buy-out, as it increasingly seems the two parties have little desire to work together. Hamilton hasn't actually said much on the matter, but it's safe to assume that he isn't pleased with the comments coming from team brass. If health were the only issue, Hamilton might be able to join the Angels as soon as early June.
